amazing | Reviewer: Dan | 12/9/07

i may just be an 18 year old kid who listens to loud heavy music with too much screaming or songs that degrate women but i know an amazing song when i here one. this is one of tho's songs that even 100 years later people will still be singing and loving

Great Song | Reviewer: Stu Rycroft | 12/3/07

Such a lovely song and one of the few songs to actually remind me of and make me feel Christmassy. I always thought she said "Happy Christmas you arse-hole" but I see it's "your arse", does that make sense,

"Happy Christmas your arse"??? Does she mean 'go and get your arse involved in a happy christmas' or what???

shane ritchie and jessie wallace | Reviewer: margaret | 12/9/06

great song. shane ritchie aka alfie moon and jessie wallace aka kat slater should sing this song. i honestly thought it was shane ritchie when i first heard it. sounds great for the winter.

I love this song | Reviewer: Sarah | 12/8/06

I just heard this song on the radio, and have felt really Christmassy for the first time this year - until now it's not felt like Christmas really. It is an amazing song. And of course I always think of Kirsty at this time of year - it's almost 6 years since she passed away.

Perfect | Reviewer: Steve Wraith | 11/1/06

This song is the most soul wrenching song ever written, the poet Shane McGowan probobly the best songwriter of the 80´s when sober enough to put pen to paper. This song tells of love turning to hate, sorry but if you have not witnessed both of these feelings ¨Stop living in Disney Land¨. This song only reached No 2 because of record company tampering at the same time as every concert sellingl out in under 1 hour.

What a christmas song should be | Reviewer: George B | 12/15/04

A slightly alternative christmas song (how many do you know with the word slut in it) but my favourite of them all. So many christmas songs nowadays are just fake and commercial; this one manages to bring a tear to the eye of many a listenener without being overly sentimental. I cant hear this song without getting a warm feeling inside - this song is such a meaningful one for me and sums up what christmas should be about - togetherness and love.

Happy Christmas everyone

The Perfect Song | Reviewer: Jeffrey Stumpf | 12/3/04

This song is one of the most beautiful, most perfect songs ever. Well, anyway in my limited personal experience. I don't like music like the kids do – I don't have to hear it every day, all the time. And yet, this is the only song I listen to over and over. Not only is it the perfect Irish song, it is my personal song. I'll request it at my funeral mass.
