I'm female, but I never thought of it empowering for women. Not to say that its not, but I always saw the song as a reminder to men that we aren't SEX TOYS! I hate when certain(not all) men get the idea that women for put on Earth for their[men]pleasure. Anywho, enough of my rambling, great song! I absolutely love it!

Retort-- I think your wrong =] | Reviewer: Ali | 10/8/2007

The only time I would think this song was good was if I was in Junior Freakin' high... It's stereotypical and just boring. Besides, does she not think there aren't other whores in the bar besiders her that men will go home with, she is dreaming if she thinks that she is that important and attractive.. She ain't the only one in da club...
^^^^^^^^^^ Thats what some one else wrote, i personally think that if pink walked into a bar then ALL the guys would flock to her like birds to seed, shge is the hottest bitch on this planet (in a guys perspective) and she doesn't deserve your sh.t. She has been through more than you could imagine and she is having some fun now. Let her rock, if you don't like her don't listen to her. simple.

don't mess | Reviewer: abby | 10/8/2007

i like this song because it says don't mess with me i want to have fun tonight. and i like that alot. empowering to women?? yes and no. yes, because she says she doesn't need a man to have fun. but no because of the video. and men will never learn, trust me.

duh! | Reviewer: Anonymous | 8/28/2007

'give me the money' isn't exactly "empowering" but it does get a point across. it's like...i don't want you and i don't need you to buy me a stupid drink...if you insist on speaking to me, just give me the money you would have spent on the drink and leave me alone. kinda "just get bent, jerk!'

Money line... | Reviewer: Samantha Ivy | 8/1/2007

Love this song.
Anyways, about the money part, it's like, just keep your stupid drink that you want me to take to get drunk, and give the five bucks it would have cost you to buy it for me, because that's much better than a beer, or something along those lines.

money, oh, money | Reviewer: Samantha | 7/30/2007

instead of paying for the drink that she would've gotten, give her the money and be gone.

at least that is what i think.

empowering for women?? | Reviewer: Anonymous | 7/18/2007

This song is ANYTHING BUT empowering to women. Has anyone even SEEN the music video??

Obviously you don't understand the lyrics.

eehhhhhh | Reviewer: jen | 7/18/2007

No apologies | Reviewer: Mel , South Jersey | 6/18/2007

In all my years of dancing at clubs, now 15 years, this is how it has always been with me. Never grinding up on guys, never...it ain't me. It is about the mood and the music, and I don't give a flying fu*k who watches..
