Echoes and "2001". | Reviewer: Maxime | 6/2/07

This song is synchronized with the last section of "2001: A Space Odyssey" (Stanley Kubrick, 1968) : "Jupiter and beyond the infinite".

Amazing | Reviewer: Anonymous | 5/22/07

I was pleasantly surprised at how long this song was. I thought it was just 5 or 6 minutes. It ended up playing for way longer. At the "whale-song" part, I thought it would end. But it came back!!! I always loved Pink Floyd's really long songs like Interstellar Overdrive, Atom Heart Mother, Shine on You crazy Diamond,A Saucerful of Secrets, Embryo, and more. And Echoes is one of them. The only negative thing I'll say is that it makes me sleepy. But that can sometimes help you get to sleep!

Nostalgia | Reviewer: Coos | 5/16/07

Nostalgia on its best; it makes you homesick and longing for the times before you were born. The seed of your eternal soul is captured in this song and gives you a moment of total enlightment

crystal voyager | Reviewer: dai | 5/9/07

the "echoes" sequence of crystal votager is one of the most beautiful things i have ever seen on screen.

On A Cetain Level.... | Reviewer: Dave | 5/6/07

Much has been said about this "song" which is almost more of a geographical and emotional journey than a song, but without a doubt, on a very certain and specific level, Echoes is the greatest song ever written. If rock and roll were to be ever be put on trial for not being a true art-form, 'Echoes' would be exhibit A for the defense. God Bless Pink Floyd and I feel sorry for all of the poor 18 year olds who think Jessica Simpson and American Idol is "music".

never get enough.... | Reviewer: Harhash | 5/1/07

i'm new to the pink floyd world....the first time i heard this song was on the album ECHOES-The Best Of Pink Floyd...i remember the time when i bought this album , lying on my bed at 2:00 am..talking on the phone... when the song started...i noticed the begining of it ..it was great...when it came to the middel solo.. i completley lost my concentration & attracted to it...

out of me. | Reviewer: felix | 4/21/07

the lyrics are freaking awesom. and the music makes me shiver. I think its the most near to be in a acid trip. If you get some trip, and hear this, probably starts to learn to fly.

A trip through time and space... | Reviewer: Anonymous | 4/20/07

When the song begins, you are in a desert beach in a prehistoric era. A little creature comes out of the green and echoic ocean amazed by the warm light of the sun.
After that you are transported to modern era in the moment when two individuals accidentally look at each other in the eyes and understand how much is there to see and discover in others about ourselves.
The comparison is brilliant, a little creature rises and discovers the sun and the universe outside the ocean, and two ordinary people walking in a mundane street in a superficial world discover the universe inside each other's eyes.
