A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART | Reviewer: KB | 1/25/11

This song means so much to me. I bought the DVD concert "PULSE" that was recorded in 1994 in Earl's Court London. When I watched the DVD, that was the first time I had ever heard this song. I had just went through a tragic divorce and this song really touched my heart and became one of my favorite songs ever. I still watch the DVD several times each month, my kids even like it and have grown to really love this song. Thank you David Gilmour and Pink Floyd. May God bless you. RIP-Richard Wright, you are not forgotten.

Just everything | Reviewer: Anonymous | 10/15/10

The Divison Bell has to be one of my all time best albums, probably on the same scale (if not higher) as The Bends by Radiohead. The lyrics to this song mean alot to me, many of times I've played this after feeling pissed off with life, and all the times I've played it, at the end I was a new person, this song has helped me so much and so has Floyd, for that I have to thank them, as their songs mean so much to me.

thank you | Reviewer: hurt | 8/5/10

I've heard this song before, but never really payed attention to the lyrics. I really heard it just tonight. I'm awfully sad because of a lot of things happening in my life. But after reading all the things that you, people, wrote, I feel I'm not alone.

thank you!

PInk Floyd is an amazing band who gave us some of the best songs that are still very popular,so people who are hating on it need to shut up cause this isnt for arguing, its for enjoying a great song.

floydian... | Reviewer: freesoul | 9/14/09

biswas thapa....oh ...pink floyd wrote this song for u...wat a loser....u dont even know who wrote the song man....roger waters left the band long long long time before this song was written....david gilmour almost single handedly created the division bell album....and this is one the best songs ever of PF....only if they were re-united and hav a show in india!!sob...sob....

you douche | Reviewer: bschnet | 8/26/09

Biswas Thapa.. you douche. don't claim things like you feel "this song was written for me only" if you can't even credit the appropriate writers.. now i love all Pink Floyd, but the remaining fellows of Pink Floyd released this song (and it's album) well after they had removed themselves from the godhead (not said amiably) Waters.

Shiver down my spine. | Reviewer: Biswas Thapa | 8/21/09

Well i can ask for a complete song than the above.Sometimes i feel that the song was written for me only, when i was in college in Kolkata i use to tell my friends that if ever i would sing a song on stage than it would definately be "coming back to life" even thou that day has never arrived in my life but, it always gives me the shiver down my spine to everytime i listen to this song.Like my friends have mentioned above it can change your life....hats off to Roger Water and his team for composing such a beutiful song.

a neverending song | Reviewer: ananda | 8/19/09

PF gave us the possibility of approaching the essence of life with this song. The message clear underlying in all its phrases, and I think everyone knows decrypting from his own life, his own experience, but I'm sure all who listen it, will feel that taste of hope, optimism to be alive, that it always left to me. I really think that this song is one of those who was made to be always among us, by their content, impacting generation after generation, life after life.

..thanks PF | Reviewer: emanuel | 4/14/09

First Floydian song I ever heard | Reviewer: MITVEDA | 2/10/09

I am a true MITIAN. It so happened that the yr i joined college, there was this college fest happening and one of our seniors (duno his name) truely inspired me with this song.Sung beautifully exactly with more or less the same lead (gilmour is god, so cant match god), with a ciggarette in hand. After the song was over i was desperate to know the name of the song. I returned to my hostels and kept asking each one of them the name of the song. As I got to know,I borrowed PULSE cassette from a true Floydian fan and kept listening to it day in and out. From then till now, i've been floyding out in my car,@ work, wherever as it gives me the TRIP of my life. MIT and the floyd trip which stung me, complete me.i cant praise enough to this awesome band which i know for sure have given the "TRIP" to many lives. Can never forget my college and the people of my batch. I had the best years of my life. Truely a floydian fan!!! I just wish the band visits INDIA once and it will be my once in lifetime achievement to be there for the show....

best,
MITVEDA

Pink Floyd saved my life | Reviewer: Groulx | 12/26/08

Pink Floyd save my life. I was in a deep depression when I discovered this awsome band.
I was thinking about suicide but I heard some of their songs that made me change my mind.

They mean lot to me.
They saved my life
