Thanx Pink 4 such a song | Reviewer: Anonymous | 10/5/07
I'm an Arab girl and proud of it :) this song by pink touched my heart but I do look at it from the other way and still asking most of her question to the US president
hmmm | Reviewer: tom | 10/2/07
Although I agree that the President does need to think about these words and take heed from what they say, I find it slightly ironic that P!nk is singing it as I imagine she is not going through much hardship and pain. I love the song and think she is an amazing singer, however the words don't sound genuine coming from her and ought to be sung by someone worse off than herself.

To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.
Theodore Roosevelt, 1918

Its a GREAT song, it makes us passionate and think...alot of people in this world are very passive and alot of them do something...and we accept what is fed to us so we can live our quiet little lives...there is alot of money and power involved...do you guys know who owns NASDAQ? The Arab government and the Chinese...they are like in the majority controlling our economy right now...scary?! I dont want my very brand new impressionable 18 yr old boy going over there and they are talking draft...and I think that it should be a choice of freedom...GOD BLESS all those over there and I dont really agree with what is happening, but the people that are doing it are very honorable and their families are suffering...Just say some prayers and kind words for them. I think the great thing here is we DO have our opinions and are stating them here...I DO have this CD and LOVE her...its an open letter its thoughts, poetry and feelings. we should ALL be so brave to put ourselves out there and say what we mean and believe...its BEAUTIFUL!
We have many social issues and I have been through some of them mentioned...so sometimes it is very personal when people who do NOt have children or who have NOT been homeless judge those without knowledge...but you know its their right and they may be misguided...I have been ignorant of real facts myself and stated opinions...its how we learn!
Ignorant Celebrities | Reviewer: Anonymous | 9/21/07
Regardless of what you feel about the war, it is ridiculous and unpatriotic to bash the President and encourage pulling out of it. Terrorists are encouraged by Americans being unsupportive of the war and pop singers who encourage fans (who apparently idolize them) to not support the President are completely out of their realm. Unfortunetly, ignorant pop stars like Pink have the power to shape young minds, yet should not be involved in shaping opinions. This song is absolutely offensive and ridiculous coming from a person who has all the money she will ever need. As if Pink has a damn clue about the education system, the war, homeless bed building and pregnant girls who have no money. Give me a break. As for President Bush working hard: what do you think he's doing? Regardless of your political views, every President of this country does what he thinks is right and has a goal to better this country and that takes hard work. I did not agree with President Clinton, but I would never be as disrespectful and ignorant to say that he didn't work hard. Pink's song is absolutely ignorant and disgusting and I will not ever buy her music again. I encourage people to become informed on all sides of issues before listening to their favorite (ignorant) pop star and agreeing with her opinions.

This song tells it like it is... | Reviewer: Paisley Vespa | 9/14/07
What an excellent song - lyrics, music and the wonderful Indigo Girls as well. But I wonder why in a country that prides itself on "freedom of speech" that anyone who has the gall to criticise the president or the policies of the goverment draw so much vitriol. (remember the Dixie chicks) It is SUCH an immature attitude and a lot of folks need to GROW UP!!! Here in Australia we also have a government with a pretty appalling record on issues such as the Iraq invasion, treatment of refugees and indigenous people, not to mention policies which continually allow the rich to get richer (and greedier) and the poor to struggle just to put food on the table...however, I believe we generally have a healthy scepticism about our leaders, we can question and criticise if we wish and know just because 51% of the country elected them doesn't mean they truly represent the whole of the country (and that is the same whatever party is in power!) I congratulate Pink and the Indigo Girls for having the courage of their convictions and being prepared to voice them publicly!! Go Girls!
PINK don't know nothing about hard work! | Reviewer: Cat | 9/15/07
I agree with Dolyn. You should mind your own business unless you personally have been affected by president bush because I'm sure you haven't had to re-build your own house after a bomb hit it Pink.

its not all about the words!!! | Reviewer: mandy | 9/12/07
even no my president isnt Mr Bush i still think this song has a lot of meening even to the people in australia i meen its not like our president is doing anything to help people less fortunate and that aint got things like other people do there are some places that dont have running water and kids die everyday from diseases i think this song isnt just about the president it relates to people in general!!!!
i think pink is a great role model for younger people because she expresas her self and what she feels and makes other people think about what realy happening in the world and realy shows all the problems that some people face everyday!!!!!!!!!!!!!
