Pink is my idol and i look up to her. Its the US's "paternalistic" views that are creating enemys, its amazing that u cant see that, u r not the entire world. I am under 20 and can probably tell u more about the world that most of the US's educated population, because u learn in schools in the US is about the US. Here we study a myirad (for the idiots it means lots)of different cultures and religions. For the supposed "Greatest nation on earth" u are really selfish and power hungry. I'm just saying, president bush probably thinks what he is doing is bset for the country. and the world can't be perfect. as sad as it is, as UNFORTUNATE as it is, there will always be people that are less fortunate for example people in poverty, people addicted to drugs and people that are homeless. it is humanly IMPOSSIBLE for everybody to be sheltered and fully well. and though i find her very brave for bringing out her thoughts like this, it's still not possible for the world to be perfect. for america to be perfect. in fact, for a PERSON to be perfect. HE's a politician and he still makes mistakes. and many people choose their own fates or are born into it. take druggies for example, they could look for a job etc and earn some money but because they made a mistake in the beginning they're addicted, and they can't stop. they'd just spend themoney on drugs and alcohol. and for the homeless, it's incredibly sad to even think that people don't have homes to go home toe very night, but you can't bame this ont he president. It's probably a mean thing to say, but it is incredibly true also: the president can't worry about matters such as this all the time. He needs to protect the WHOLE country not just parts of it or just some people in it and to protect the whole country he needs to take care of international affairs. annd if it means war, it's war. although it is stupid and a riduclous thing to do. they probably have thought it through. the truth is harsh. life is harsh. live with it guys. Pink's lyrics are rather disturbing, but the other comments posted here are even more disturbing. Pink is a pretty girl who can sing and dance, but she obviously hasn't done any real thinking about how the world really is. Looks like her fans haven't done much either. First, I blame the public schools. Most of what I've learned came from places other than school. If I learned everything they taught in school, and nothing else, I'd be pretty dumb! Too many people blame all the world's ills on the president, even when the world's condition is better than it's ever been in history! Yes, we still have some problems, but life is A LOT better now than it's been in past centuries! So far we've lost 3500 troops in Iraq. In Vietnam, we lost 57,000. In Korea, 53,000. In World War II we lost 450,000. (The whole world lost SIXTY MILLION people in that one!) So we're getting off REAL easy! Communist and socialist governments in Russia, China, and Germany killed over a HUNDRED MILLION MORE people, just for saying what they think! The USA kills the killers so that people around the world can say what they think, even if it's foolish and uninformed, like Pink's song. President W is sending our troops to fight the people who want to do more of the kind of evil I listed above. Those people attacked us! On 9-11, and more than a dozen times before that! W is doing the whole world a huge favor! We need to support it! It's OUR lives he's saving! (By the way, W was wrong about illegal immigrants, and it's good we stopped him on that one!)
