The song is great, she just said what she feels.
Americans live in their own "perfect world" and know nothing about what happens inside and outside this country. You should all study more and open your minds to what dear American Mr. Presidents have done for the whole world for the last 50 years. "Oh, we were attacked here in our own land!" Oh, US did not attack any other land ever right? What a naive person who wrote this shit.
Pink is just saying some of the things Mr. President should hear, but anyway he is too dummy to understand and really doesn't care at all to this comments here or any song. He just plays the same music as his father did.

I'm going to say just what I'm thinking since I will never be back on this site to read all the stupid-ass responses to my statement. If you have something to say to me about my oppinion,..email me. Otherwise save your finger muscles for something a little more beneficial to yourself. Pink is a rock star chick who happens to be lucky enough to be in a place where the Dear Mr. President Bush will hear what she has to say. There is nothing wrong with her lyrics, or her flow, or the song. I'm a singer, songwriter and musician and I've been writing poetry and music since I was around 9 or 10 years old. Creativity is without boundaries, it is personal,...creative writings such as lyrics or poetry is not writen with another persons' needs in mind. In other words, your writing won't make me feel what my own will make me feel because what I write is for me. What Pink wrote was for her. Not you, not me, not anyone else but her. It doesn't matter what everybody thinks of the song,..it only matters what Pink feels and thinks about the song. For you critics? Back the fuck up if you can't produce somethin better than that yourself. And for yourself. From your heart. Where creativity is born. Peace out people.

"Thank you" to Pink. It's about time that someone can speak our minds. Many of us know that "bush" is very self centered, egotistical and flat out stupid.
It is extremely sad and hypocritical of our "little bush" that he judges The Dixie Chicks for speaking their minds (freely!) overseas, and yet, he says negative things about the democrats while he is out of the country....what a way to separate a nation!!!
Personally, I think Pink is awesome for what she sings, and Bush and all of his little followers can eat sh*t!!

ive been reading all of these negitive commets about the song and i personaly have to say that this song is AMAZING. I dont care what any of you have to say.... ya theres always been minimium wages (with kids on the way) and ya there have always been homeless people but there wasnt this many untill Bush became president. Hes done a horrible job in my opinion and i feel bad for the next president who has to clean up after him.

I love that everyone is getting more into politics because of this song, but i wish more of you would do more research on the subject. I dont agree with how the song blames the president for many problems today in the U.S. They aren't directly his fault. There's always been homeless people and people making minimum wage with kids on the way so i dont see how Bush is at fault. So no the song is not true with every statement. I wonder if people will ever give Bush credit for liberating more people then anyone else has. To the guy who says the government is corrupted and used the great depression, cold war, and 9/11 as examples, thats wrong. The world went through a great depression (not just the u.s.) and it wasnt our governments cause, never was 9/11.

Pink has a lovely voice. This song is silly and I dislike it, but I feel the need to make a comment anyways because I have nothing else to do at 2:00 am. I'm a Conservative Catholic, far right. Bush is not my bff though. :P

Pinks lyrics are much more blunt, I'm suprised she didn't just outright say "BUSH IS A NAZI VOTE OBAMA PLZ".

I expected much more from Pink, especially with a political song. It's obvious she's passionate - Just wish she could've combined her passion with real lyrics, poetry, something that flows, not just blunt "I FUCKING HATE REPUBLICAN" hate shit.

I tell you my stepmom and my dad LOVE this song. I just remember all the 11 - 14 year olds at my school and the middle school, talking about how deep this song is, quoting the PMSNBC and the Clinton News Network word for word and acting like they know shit about politics when they only look at one side of the damn story anyway.

I love this song and it is very good. I agree with her message. What I dont agree with is the people talkin about its not right and not true wat she saying about bush! when no one mentioned his name AT ALL. I mean we dont know were she live (some of us might but not all) and where ever she is more than likley they have a president! So all the negative comments and stuff need to be kept inside!!!

I think Pink has a beautiful voice and i love many of her songs. However, i don't agree at all with the message this song is singing. I don't think many people fully understand how hard and demanding the job of being the president of united states is. We are in a war because we were attacked on our own land. Do you think we should have not done anything and have had it happen again? NO. If you think that Bush is such a horrible man, why don't you try figuring out what to do with this country. AND you can't blame all of America's problems on Bush, in his situation i believe he has done what he thought was the best for our country. I admire him for getting us as a nation through this horrible time. I admire PINK for writing such a contraversial song, but I think she's wrong.

Ok my personal opinion of the song is it rocks. Alot of the stuff in it IS true. I don't agree with a couple of the things she "asks" the president like how can he take his daughters rights away (abortion) I personally feel abortion is murder and it is a horrible thing to do. The other is gay marriage, its not that I have a problem with "gays" but I don't believe in the marriage of them because of my religious beliefs. I think the "minium wage with a baby on the way" line is great because my dad works two jobs so I can have what he didn't when he was a little boy and I love and appriciate him for that very much. Some people say they shouldn't be having the baby but what if they really wanted a family and this was the only chance they were going to get. Some say get educated and get a better job first, they might not have the time or money to get "educated". The war was good at first but now I believe we arent fighting for anything, before we were defending our country but now many many troops (dads, husbands, brothers, sisters, moms, daughters, sons, wives, cousins.) have been killed. My cousin is over there now and his wife is here staying with her mom. They have 2 kids one who is 2 and one who will be turning 1 in may. My cousin hasn't saw his youngest son since he was 2 weeks old, and isn't supposed to get home for about another month, and that is a long time when you love and miss someone. I see this song from both sides. My personal feelings are this song rocks and brings up many good points even though I don't believe in some or feel that some are right. Great job Pink. :)
