This is a wonderful performance of Hayo Haya by Peter, Paul and Mary accompanied by the New York Choral Society.
The words remind us of the fight for religious freedom and holiness and the desecration of Solomon's temple in Jerusalem. It also reminds us that this was predicted by the prophet Daniel when he had a vision of exactly this desecration.
We are reminded that we should not let faith go out and that Judas Maccabeus fought for exactly that right of religious practice.
