Just can't move on... | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/30/08
Was married for 7 years and she left me for another. I have always liked this song and found new meaning for it. It's been a year since she left and I have done all I can to move on and push her away but this song reminds me...I still love her and always will.....
The song that can change your life! | Reviewer: Vicky Bahl | 10/10/08
This is one of those songs that have an impact!
As soon as you are suffering and you listen to it, you'll cry, or shout or sing along but you will react for sure. Its beautiful. I listen to this all day long sometimes. All those who hate this are idiots.

I first heard this song when I was 19 years old. I am now 34, almost 35 and this song is still my favourite song ever. It is the only song that I have listened to a millions times, whether on CD or singing it in my head and still absolutely love it. When I first heard this song, I instantly became a PJ fan. Eddie Vedder's voice alone made me tremble, the passion that he has singing this song still gives me chills....I too have been lucky enough to hear him sing this song live in concert more than once....Even my wife has turned to PJ because of this song, thanks to me.........it is the most powerful song I have ever heard..not just the lyrics but again Vedders voice and delivery....u can feel his pain.....especially at the end when he says 'I know someday you'll have a beautiful life, I know you'll be the star, in somebody else's sky, but why, why , whyyyyyyyyyyy, can't it be, can't it be mmmmiiiiiiiiinnnnneeeeee........and then the feeling in the end when he (screams) in the last minute off the song from the pain he is obviously feeling........this song, will be my favourite til the end.....

Wait to you hear this live | Reviewer: Jonathan | 2/23/08
I've been lucky to hear "Black" in concert twice. It's worth the ticket price alone, Eddie pours his heart into it every single time. If anyone is able to source bootlegs, I seriously recommend the version performed in Adelaide on 21/11/2006... It was truly amazing!
Powerful | Reviewer: cdl | 2/11/08
I have always loved this song. It is in my opinion the best song they have ever had. I never really knew the lyrics until a while back, and after I read them, I had a better understanding of the song. Eddie puts alot of emotion into this song when he sings it live. It's like everytime he gets out there, he puts his heart out there for the fans to see and feel what he was going through. It's a powerful song. Lyrical genius.
this song touches me | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/25/07
what moves me about this song is that art is a metaphore for love( canvas clay and ect....)
i think its a great metaphore...
another sentence that gets to me is" she gave me all that she wore" cause in true love you take off everything until your bare naked...(metaphorically..)
i know how these things feel and i know how it feels not having it anymore.
beautiful song!!!
