Phrasing words to completely express yourself may be as equally as challenging. The opening verse of this song is inspiring to those who seek to better formulate words that allow for deep-reflection. This track stems from an album comprised of deep-rooted psychologically issues that Paula is working through (or has worked through). This album is well-balanced, in that it speaks of rebellion against conformity (against religion, sexist oppression, etc.) and seemingly pointless, self-inflicted ostracizing ("Tiger"); entertains the cliche of jaded love ("Where Have All the Cowboys Gone?"); describes the extent of one's mindset while in fanatical self-pity (“Road to Dead”); provokes the senses of promiscuity (“Feelin' Love”); expresses the classical sentiment of love-or-let-go attitudes towards relationships (“I Don't Want to Wait”); and invokes the “spirit” (if you will) of Buddhism and self-actualization (“Me”). By far, this is one of Paula's most profound albums that will have a lasting impact on my personal life. It is among a few of my all-time favorite albums. (I realized this when my original CD from the 1990s was too scratched-up to play in the CD player anymore, and I actually went to the CD store to buy a new one!) - Me!
