After looking at Annie Lennox performimg the song, I was really drawn into it. I had to have the Cd and the video.It seems i've listened to it about a million times and each time, it gives me goose bumps. The music is so haunting and Annies voice singing the lyrics just makes me want to cry everytime I hear the song. It really touches your emotions. The entire Possibilities Cd is simply awesome with some amazing talent. Sting even outdid himself on "Sister Moon". Herbie should have gotten a grammy for this Cd. i hope he does another collaborative CD, because this one is just unbelievably great! being a song writer myself, it encourages me to really dig deep into my soul, and write songs that have great meaning to them very very moving and eloquent!! | Reviewer: ahgelo chandler | 2/26/2008 when i first heard and saw annie lennox and herbie doing the song on his possibilities cd i loved it before i even found out what it was actually about being a musician ,there is something soothing about the whole thing and when i found out what it was actually about then it just taken over my soul and it's so appropiate and makes you just want to be able to write like that ,i suspect it should be an anthem for the cause ...........great work paula. What makes the song so beautiful along with the words are the chords at the end of the song. It kinda scares you at first but with Annie singing Hush Hush Hush over it, it puts you at peace, Just like the story behind the song Hush, hush, hush - what a wonderful song | Reviewer: Leisa | 10/16/2007 I heard this song for the first time when Herbie Hancock and Annie Lennox performed it(Herbie's CD - Possibilities which is wonderful - it has Sting, Paul Simon, Annie Lennox, John Mayer, and Joss Stone to name a few). It is so sad, but beautiful at the same time. She wrote it about a friend who was dying from AIDS. Herbie and Annie called Paula while recording this song to dig deeper into the story behind the song, which descripbes the final encounter between a oung man dying of AIDS and his only just comprehending father, and that resulted in an even more eloquent track.
