Lillie Said She only wished for her Name to be immortalized. But patsie's advisers ruled against naming her at all. It ended up in court in Colorado where the Judge Riled they must print as inspired by Lillie Hollister.This was done because Harlan Howard & Hank Cochran hade chaned only one (1) Word of Lillie's original song so that she could not Take the credit for it, Lillie Died in 1991 and she hung her head ever time that she heard this song but she would not let anyone turn it off. She was an onest woman with 3 son's by Wilbur Riddle and she let people use her kindness every day. It's a same that her only wish for this song was that Patsy be the one that sang it and her name be put on the record as the song wrighter. It's also a shame that GREED has to be the only inspiring rule in the music industries For GREED AND GREED OLONE is yhe failure of this once great country.
