Ok I just heard this song yesterday..I'm aware I'm very late on hearing this song, But when I heard it I related quickly! This song reminds me of my 3 heros God, Jesus Christ And Travis clark of yes we the kings. first off God's my hero because..well without him none of us would be here he created Jesus who died for our sins and forgives the stupid things we do! Jesus cause like I said he died for our sins and we should appreciate him more. and Travis because he's so positive and so full of love hope & life

Okay; for starters, North & South America are separate continents. & 'Ian' obviously isn't from America. He used 'j' instead of 'h', suggesting he is either Mexican, German or something similar.
The reason the twin towers were targeted was because of George W. invading middle eastern countries for oil, under the false pretence of "WMD's". After 9/11, that just gave them a better excuse. Now I'm not saying that what the terrorists did was right, not at all, but you people don't seem to think about WHY people do things, just what you can do to get back at them.
I'm also not saying that service men & women aren't heroes, they're certainly braver than me, but just think about what they're REALLY fighting for. If you honestly think that invading 3rd world, middle eastern countries is going to give you the freedom & justice you already have, well then there's something rotten in the state of USA.
& before you give me some bullshit patriotic rant about how grateful I should be, I'm not from America. I'm from Australia, & I think it's ridiculous that we get roped in to fight wars your government starts so that we can keep our allegiance & not have the potential to be invaded in the future. Because honestly, if say, the Turks invaded Australia, do you REALLY think USA troops would come running to the rescue? I doubt it.
/end rant
To the real topic, I love this song. :D

Wow.... | Reviewer: Erin | 7/31/10
so first off anyone that will go across the seas to possibly get themselves killed to defend the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is a hero to me.
We call ourselves the United States of America because we are 50 states united in America. South America is full of seperate countries that are not united under one form of government, and thats why they aren't united and we are. get your facts first.
i don't know where you are from Ian but I do know if you are from america you have no idea how greatful you should be to the men and women that went to defend your country after the Twin Towers were destroyed by two hijacked airplanes, and the pentagon was targetted. thousands upon thousands of people died that day. people with families and friends. people with their whole lives ahead of them. people that didnt know they were going to die. they left behind families to deal with the loss, and are a reason a country is devastaed. imagine if you were a member of one of those families or a friend of one of those people that were lost. how would you feel, you would eat your words.
In the United States of America, when a person goes to fight for anothers freedom we consider that a hero, an angel on earth, a savior to our country.
Ian, you need to seriously think of what it would be like if someone led an attack like that on your lands, in the country you know and love.
and to the troops, THANKYOU AND GOD BLESS

First off, love Paramore! Hayley has the most amazing voice! I love this cover so much!!
Now @Ian pirulo
Every country is not perfect and the U.S. is no exception. However, any person that puts themselves in the military to be sent out and risking their lives is brave. To some those men and women out there are their hero. That is what this song is about a person's hero. This song is saying that any person can be a hero to anyone. "There goes my hero he's ordinary." Don't yell at others for who they think is a hero please. -_-
Oh, c'mon | Reviewer: Ian_pirulo | 3/2/10
jajaja, i can't stop laughingh every time i see some american ass thinking "oh, our troops are heros, they fight for freedom and justice" c'mon, wake up, you live in a capitalist country that needs to destroy cultures to feed its market, your stupid country need to control the oil and so you go and kill what you call terrorists, wich have nothing to do but your government says that they are bad people and you say "yes, they are bad people if you say"... god you are fucked up, the next war will be when you jerks need water and have to invade the south american countries to steal their water because yours is too contaminated... And you are not America, you are the United States of North America, America is a CONTINENT suckers, where a lot of people live...
Cheers... Hope some "yankee" citizen wake up and stop traiding their young people for the oil of the market...

I love paramore. Just about all their songs relate to me somehow. This song reminds me of my hero, my boyfrined who is in the army training to save the lives of his fellow american citizens, his family, and me. I love this song, and i'm singing it in my school's talent show, wish me luck.

I don't know why but every time I hear this song it makes me think of "The Passion of the Christ". I mean Jesus isn't ordinary but it makes me think of Jesus as he's walking up to the cross. Don't ask why but it does.
This is great. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 7/28/09
I am a Paramore fan, but that aside, this is an amazing song. Sound of Superman is a wonderful compilation. The refrain makes me think of a special somebody (insert girlie smile here). The vocalization is beautiful, and the chords are so soothing. I'd recommend listening.

A friend and I are triying to do a cover of this song... for a friend's birthday. She does really feel the lyrics, and we try to do it too, for she. The song is awesome, the guitar is great, and we wish to do a great cover.
