My heart = Awesomeness! | Reviewer: Emily | 3/5/09

This song is absolutly amazing. When i first heard it , it gave me chills. especially when my boyfriend thought it should be our song. and it is. and everytime i hear it i think of him. its an all around great song.

I agree with Greatness Incarnate | Reviewer: Corinne | 3/3/09

I agree with you.
It is a brilliant song.

I sing it to my Earthyl husband.
Because my heart belongs to him.
But I sing it to Yahweh, as well.
Because he is my husband. And I live for him.

I think we can sing it to whoever we want too.
We can interpret it in our own way.
Someone could think it was written for a puppy dog. It's their opinion.

If you can't allow someone to think freely, then you can't think freely as well.

could it be??? | Reviewer: daiane | 3/4/09

i love this song from the first time i heard it
on fact that made m think bout what it means, lik who did she write it for
could she be talking bout someone who died and she believes this person may be on heaven and could sing for her and she would know and life isn't the same without this person???
has anyone read anything bout what hayley said bout it?

A New Perspective | Reviewer: Greatness Incarnate (No, not actually) | 2/10/09

Wow.
Reading all of the different comments made me see that, yes, this song could be interpreted as Christian/speaking/praying etc. to God.

I thought that was pretty cool; HOWEVER, people getting all "OMG it means this or else!" irritated me. A lot. Can't we all just have our own opinion and listen to the fabulous song?

Oh, and by the way, people need to learn to spell correctly.

My Heart Beats | Reviewer: Melanie | 1/18/09

i really really love this song
the first time i heard it for the begining i was like meh but the ending part was amazing
i almost cried but i didn't
in a way i think the scremo adds more effect to it.
i love the whole thing

ummm... | Reviewer: =] | 1/15/09

well i was reading the some of the other reviews and i really didnt link this song to god. im sort of aethiest so i really dont link anything to god so thts maybe why. but this is a really good song no matter which way u link it either a song to god or a love song =p..... i<3paramore

my perspective | Reviewer: michael | 1/11/09

I am a christian and I do believe that this song is primarily about a love for God. I think that it is along the same lines as the song of soloman in the bible though. Where it shows love between two people but on a wider scale the love between a person and God. Does this make sense to anyone else?

a great song no matter wat u think | Reviewer: isadora | 12/31/08

It doesn't matter wat u think, the awsome part of this song is that u can put it ethier way, a love song or a song about god. and maybe that is wat paramore wanted, to make ppl chosse wat they wanted the song to be and not make any of their fan mad or weirded out. i take the song both ways.

AMAZING | Reviewer: Anonymous | 12/28/08

This song is amazing
I can see it as both being about relationships
or God, either way I think it's a beautiful song.

Especially sounds great if you listen to it on "the final riot" cd/dvd

Amazing singing live.

A really good song, but i dont understand what ppl like abt the screamin in the background, i dont think it sounds that nice, but i guess everyone just has their own respective choices:D

btw, can anyone recommend any other awesome songs by paramore?

isn't a boy/girl love song | Reviewer: kao vang | 12/6/08

someone mentioned that it is out of place. it does seem so but I know that this isn't a boy/girl love song. it's obvious. i mean c'mon, "sing to us and we'll sing back to you." but then I wouldn't force it down on people who aren't Christians, because they'll have absolutely no clue to what I'm talking about. ;) I'm not talking down on them either.. just saying, as has been, personal interpretation. and to me, it's clearly a cry out to God. ;)

Either or | Reviewer: Stephanie | 12/2/08

well.i guess this song can be seen as a Christian song. It is beautiful. But (not to be pessimistic) it could be a good funeral song.Anyway thats what I want played @mine. Wierd and morose,I know, but I think its a REALLY good song.

Kay people. its MUSIC. we ALL interpert it slightly different. that doesn't mean anybody is wrong. Personally? im christian & i can listen to this song & try my hardest to pick out where its talking about god & yet i dont manage to see how it is in the slightest. doesn't mean it isn't . it just means thats how I personally interpert it.

This song just blew me away the first time I heard it. Making a cover of it now since it's so amazing.

I'm not sure if it's about god or a lover, but either way it perfectly fits in with the song. But like someone mentioned earlier, god is love so everyone here is technically correct.

My Heart | Reviewer: Karly | 9/16/08

right. we have our own ways of interpreting songs. I thought this song was for a lover , than I read comments that this song was for God. Nonetheless, I still love the song. Because, I still sing them out loud , because its such an awesome song , may it be for a lover or for Jesus ^^. As long as you offer the song to you LovE with all your heart , then let it be his or hers , or HIS. Anyways , i love this song!! and may paramore have more beautiful songs like this one!!
