Well, first, disturbed, evanescence, and metallica are all very good bands I love them all and I'm glad you finally found them! But you say "thats rock" the thing is, they are very, very different styles of rock. The way we catergorize music really should be redone. iTunes puts Paramore under "Alternative" really alternative should be Animal Collective and Sigur Ros. just an example.
You said "the lyrics are waaaaay better than paramores" that is because the lyrics touch you from their music. The subject of their music relates to you in a way Paramore's didn't, but for me these lyrics on this song have touched me in many ways. It gives me strength. The lyrics are very good and all come from the heart, for Paramore it's not about being a hardcore band it's about music writing it, playing it, enjoying it.
they aren't there to be the best drummer or best guitar players they are there to play because they can. As for Hayley, the concert I went to and have watched have been amazing! Hayley puts her entire self into a concert, her engery spreads like some virus! And through all the jumping and headbanging and running around the stage she sings. She sings, and is belting it, and it sounds so close to the studio version. You say "hayley sounds sucky live so you know theyre on auto tuner wich makes em sound perfect every time" the thing is you have to remember that in the studio she is not jumping around everywhere, she is not singing song after song, they are redoing parts till they love it. the studio room's accustics are made for singing a stage.. not so much. so of course people sound better in the studio. ah duh :P
You say you like "REAL rock" can you define real rock? You asked us all to "listen to real music please!!!!!" but what is real music? what is the definition of music? just some thoughts.

Paramore is my favorite band. I discovered them about 2 yrs ago and I've been in love with them ever since. Hayley's voice is incredible and all the instruments played are too. Their songs always manage to touch me in the heart. Paramore rocks! they're awesome

wow, i just read her comment, and was blown away. :L paramore? not good? don't sound good live? wow... that's like what.. 90% of artists. so what if they don't sound perfect, hayley can sing, the amount of jumping and running about she does on stage is probably the reason she can't sing her songs as good as they sound on albums.. you try running around and jumping and THEN also trying to sing PERFECT. my band sounds pretty wank sometimes if i've been running about on stage. you get tired, your voice wears out from singing and running. get over it. paramore are the shizzzz(L) i love them

You idiot. Paramore and Nirvana are in 2 completely different genre's of rock. You can't fucking compare them because their music is ENTIRELY DIFFERENT. I listen to Paramore AND Nirvana and they're my 2 favourite bands of all time.

You do realize they AREN'T the same band, Paramore is rock, but they're under a different sub category. Grow up, it's obvious you're like ten, because your comment hardly made sense. Paramore has meaningful lyrics, and a great sound. Not to mention, Hayley Williams probably has more talent in one pinky than you have in your entire body. That's like saying, "I used to like Metallica, until I found Slipknot, they're REAL hardcore!"

paramore is the greatest band ever, not only because their sound is great, but they lyrics have a lot of meaning behind them. Maybe if you just really listen to the music liz, you would find what we all love. and i love that the music relates to me! and i mean every single song. They are too rock, (unlike people now days think miley cyrus is rock, its retarded pop people!)I also had the same experience as Imogen. So keep your whore mouth shut Liz! i used to be a fan of paramore until i found rock music like disturbed evanescence and metallica. thats rock. and the lyrics are waaaaay better than paramores. hayley really aint so amazing like everyone says. all the songs sound the same man! the lyrics arent very good either!!!!! they are NOT hardcore at all. i rather have people just like the tune. the music aint amazing or nothin. ive heard way better people!!!! they arent good at the instruments they play. hayley sounds sucky live so you know theyre on auto tuner wich makes em sound perfect every time like all that pop crap and rap you people prolly listen to. i like REAL rock like PANTERA or ROB ZOMBIE OR EVEN NIRVANA!!! I absolutely love this song. I bought a live cd by them, the final riot, and this song was on there. To the anonymous (sp) two below paramore uses that partas an intro- only when they sing it live. Best song by paramore ever!

.. where does that come from? It's not in MY version of the song.. so is it a deluxe edition of the song that you only get if you buy the c.d?
Anyway, Paramore is amazing. I've seen so many similar comments about them ... Like they can speak exactly to any situation, and when you hear them, you can't help but feel better. That is so true.
The only thing I've noticed is that a few of their songs sound similar; or at least have similar structure .. but i'm not complaining; a lot of bands do that.
Hayley really inspires me. :)
