Papa Roach ROCKS | Reviewer: Jul | 9/2/2008

I have to say this is the BEST LIVE BAND I have ever seen!!! They always kick ass! I've seen them 4 times & they blow the rest of the bands away. I just saw them a couple of days ago @ Crue Fest and they got the crowd as hyped as Motley Crue did (if not more so). Every time I have seen them, they do this song live! Go see them...YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

Christopher McCandless | Reviewer: K | 3/19/2008

This song was inspired by the true story of Christopher McCandless. If you all love this song, but have yet to see the movie Into the Wild, directed by Sean Penn and a soundtrack by Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam) you really really should. Amazing story and holds true to our everyday lives and the society we live in.

Best band Ever. | Reviewer: leon | 1/17/2008

Damn everything papa roach writes is perfect i would have to say there one of The best bands ever known great voice... great style ... true lyrics... And he's with everything he's singing about.

I Mean how often is it that you see someone with emotion in singing.

Less and less.

but Jon ...

In order for him to get his word out and to live
he has to do this i say more power to him

I Just hope i get to see him live in concert one day.

\m/ >O< \m/ Papa roach Forever

Ironic... | Reviewer: Jon | 1/1/2008

...that this song only became popular because of a culture that obsesses over money, and music CDs as a particular possession; that is, the band only has a voice to express their hate because of those things which they claim to detest the most.

Of course, I effing love this song. Just had to point out the irony.

self indulgence | Reviewer: Anonymous | 12/26/2007

this song is so true | Reviewer: Rycheese | 11/9/2007

dis song just makes u look at life in a whole new way its just so true u do all these things u hate 2 get money and possesions but it doesnt make u happier

Insightful song | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/4/2007

The song makes an interesting observation about Western culture. Our societal structure is based upon getting ahead by accumulating wealth, objects, and status. No matter how much we accumulate, we continue to have these needs that go unfulfilled. This puts us into a position that is distressing. Why work at a mundane job and collect the societal trappings of success if it doesn't make us any happier?

Perhaps we believe this process will eventually extinguish obsession, once we've got everything we want. Since it is impossible to have everything we want, this song posits killing the desire at the root of our impulses. While that may not be any more achievable, it is at least consoling to think that someone can come along and take our obsessions away, leaving us in peace, wanting for nothing. Once we have reached that state, our current money and possessions will have lost their value as well and can be taken with our blessings.

dear god | Reviewer: P.Rfan | 8/13/2007

tis song is the reason i first came into P.R,
and i love their music, and even if they are taking riffs from iron maiden and personillising
them that shows that they learn

Sucks! | Reviewer: Mel | 8/10/2007

I am a Papa Roach fan but Sounds like they have been stealing riffs from Iron Maiden songs. Listen to Prowler - Iron Maiden then listen to this.. sounds VERY similar doesn't it?!
