Love Panic! <333 | Reviewer: Sarah | 7/16/09
I love Panic! At the Disco soooo much!! I don't think they're getting really popular at all like some people. I hope they don't get to popular. But i still want them to be very sucessful. I loved their first album a lot. But when i heard the songs on Pretty.Odd. I fell in love with them all over again.
Panic! is just an amazing band with a whle lot of talent. Ryan Ross is a musical genius with the lyrics he writes and Brendon Uries voice is jsut simply....amazing <33333
Brilliant band, even if others don't think so. | Reviewer: Yusukea | 4/12/09
I've always loved Panic! At the Disco. I thought it was kinda weird how they suddenly got so popular though I was happy that others were listening to them too.
Where as "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out" offered a mature and emotional sort of mood, "Pretty. Odd" offered a sweet, innocent kind of feel to it. I love both for their lyrics and screwed up meanings.Haha.
Bring back the exclamation point and it's perfect. | Reviewer: Sovios | 12/19/08
"Pretty. Odd." is amazing...I loved "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out" too--as did everyone else here, it seems--but what annoys me most is the people who bitch about PatD selling out or saying things like "they changed there sound n its not a good change". (First off, learn to spell, kthxbai >=P) But secondly, keep in mind that they're not about fitting a specific genre or "scene". If Wikipedia's to be believed here, Brendon Urie had said "Emo is bullshit.* We want to be the new Radiohead."
Besides which they're very literate (huge Chuck Palahniuk fans, apparently, though they've evidently read other things) and have been listening to the '60s-era music that most of "Pretty. Odd." fits right alongside for decades. All the "pure" emo bands I've seen only seem to read Twilight and listen to The Cure--or other emo bands.
Seriously, though...I liked them with the exclamation point. It was quirky and made it fun to type their name O.o
* He definitely said "Emo is bullshit" to NME, but the other part hasn't been confirmed by my searches yet...
i'd panic if they stopped | Reviewer: pillitifeciours | 12/11/08
All my friends liked I Write Sins Not Trageties, but none of us knew who sung it. Then i found out is was PATD, and i looked into some of their other songs-and I LOVED THEM! now i know all the songs off by heart, and their like, the ONLY songs i would never skip pass.
Teeny bopper? | Reviewer: Jacquie <3 | 11/26/08
I love Panic at the disco for their original sound, and insanely clever lyrics. For me, listening to Panic is kinda like listening to an intense, mature story.
My personal favorite album was 'A Fever You Can't Sweat Out', but 'Pretty.Odd.' was different and original. So pretty much, i think they are pretty fricken awesome XP

I can't believe them... | Reviewer: That_Person | 10/10/08
I loved the techno-ness about Panic! At The Disco... but they really change. If you heard the album Pretty. Odd. , It's entirely acoustic which is bad if you like Panic! At The Disco for it's techno sound. The claimed they wanted to "Mature" but , think about it... Was it really mature to drop a type of music because your audience was too young. 2.2 million copies is alot.... I

Forever a Crazed Fan Girl~ | Reviewer: Melissa | 8/8/08
I first herd of P@D on the Radio because on there hit, "I wright sins, not tradgidys". I all way liked the song, but I also like everything else that came on KissFM so they were nothing speacial at first. Then My friend found out about the song, "The only Differents Between Martyrdom and Suiside is Press Coverage". I laught and the name and reluctatly looked it up on youtube...and it began. Every second and every minute of the day me and my firend could be caught singing this crazy song and anoying EVERYONE in our proximity!! I soon got, "A Fever You Can't Sweat out" and again I loved the name. I listened to and pretty much worshiped that CD. Aw, yes good times, but at that point I didn't know how good they really were! Then, "Pretty. Odd." came out and I put it in waiting for more hyper music to come on only to find that the genra had compleatly changed. I wasn't sure if this was good or bad at the time. But I listened to it over and over again and sure enough by the second listen I was praying to my music gods once agian! Now I don't listen to KissFM anymore because of all the hip-hop and Rap crap they play. P@D has helped to changed me into the person I am to day and forever I will look up to them a roll modls. I yes I am not afriad to admit that I am a crazy fan girl and right now I'm sad becuase they're not coming to PA any time soon!! T_T
and yes I know my spelling is horrible...I'm srry.
