This song is so gorgeous. It is beautiful and has such an elaborate meaning. You can always trust P@TD to make such a deep song about love while only saying the word 'love' once. They are beautiful lyrics to a beautiful song.

my fave song | Reviewer: brendon panics my disco | 8/3/08

this song is about a guy being in total love with this girl and she cheats on him. when he states, 'for diamonds do appear to be just like broken glass to me' he means that he was going to marry to her but now he doesnt want to think about it. 'tripping eyes and flooded lungs' refers to him being so upset that he starts doing drugs (acid trip) and smoking. he says 'hey moon please forget to fall down' because he is alone and has no one. 'sugarcane in the easy morning' is another reference to drugs (crack) for the day to be easier for him to go through. 'look back at both feet' means he is looking back at memories. he remembers when they were apart and he missed her. she missed him too, but she was cheating on him at the time. 'playful lips made of yarn, that fragile cappricorn' means she had missed him, but she couldnt help herself because her yearning for sex was stronger than her love for him. he 'knows the worlds a broken bone' meaning he knows its not perfect, 'but melt your headaches, call it home'
