Love it | Reviewer: Megan | 6/1/2007

OK! All of P!ATD's songs have a meaning it doesn't matter which one THEY ALL have one. Like "build god, then we'll talk" has a cheating meaning, quit obsessing and go look at more lyrics!

I Constantly Thank God For Esteban | Reviewer: Donmar | 5/16/2007

This song is about how all Christians (or any other people of a religion with rules about being good constantly) are hypocrites. Don't even deny it, you Christians (or you other guys) out there reading this. If you aren't a hypocrite then you're Jesus. He is the only one who was unsinful. And I personally am a Christian.

"Give us this day our daily dose of faux affliction,"
~Forgive us for the false bad things we do.

"Forged at the pulpit with forked tongues selling faux sermons"
~Created by false prophets

"Because I am a new wave gospel sharp, and you'll be thy witness
So gentlemen, if you are going to preach,
For God sakes preach with conviction!"
~"I" is the new message, telling you to do what you say to do, and to beleive what you preach.

"If the scene were a parish you'd all be condemned."
~If you were in a church you wouldn't be doing/listening (to) this

"No. Don't you get it don't you get it? Now don't you move..."
~Do you REALLY understand the words thrown at you?

---Donmar, age 14

You are so stupid! | Reviewer: Anonymous | 5/14/2007

gunslinger extrodinares and walking contradictions | Reviewer: Love | 3/9/2007

walking contradiction: the hirls who show up at shows because they thing brendon is hot and don't even really like the music.

gunslinger extrodinare- scene kids. and emo kids. they take pictures of themselves with guns to their heads.

it's as simple as that.
this song is about stereotypes.

Emo Music | Reviewer: The one behind the scene | 3/5/2007

I think you´re all falling for it, emo music takes your feelings and makes you hear what you want to hear within a little range of options, that makes it so good :D It´s good to fall for this ones though xD

All songs have a meaning, you...

They all have meanings... | Reviewer: Joeh | 2/25/2007

"I doesn't mean a thing. They're just trying to make the words rhyme"

I disagree. All songs have a meaning, (apart from the stupid songs like Fast Food Rockers and those kinds of embarasments)... I agree with Garrison.

Oh and can I just mention I LOVE this song! Hehe... xD

I dunno | Reviewer: Bob T. Builder | 2/13/2007

For one thing this isn't where you start a religious discussion. As pertaining to the subject at hand I would have to say there going down the lines of "practice what you preach", Hopefully.

If I'm wrong o well i probabbly won't ever listen to the song again

eh, you're all stupid | Reviewer: Anonymous | 2/11/2007

I doesn't mean a thing. They're just trying to make the words rhyme

and i could be wrong | Reviewer: Anonymous | 3/30/2006

but i think he's being really critical of the scene today

the song is about a show - "give us this day our daily dose of faux affliction" - emo lyrics make kids feel what maybe isn't even real. they indulge in false emotional feelings of pain.

"In this little number we are graced by two displays of character,
We've got: the gunslinger extraordinaire/walking contradictions;
And I for one can see no blood
From the hearts and the wrists you allegedly slit
And I for one wont stand for this
If the scene were a parish you'd all be condemned."

two types of people at shows. walking contradictions and i'm not sure what he means by gunslinger extraordinaire

the rest is about how these scene kids are so fake. could it be more clear? "If the scene were a parish you'd all be condemned."

the scene is a masquerade which is what panic! is trying to get across in most of their songs anyway.
