Whatever this is about, I LOVE this song!! It's such a great beat and it just makes me hyper!! Yayyyy!!!
    And to miss emo:
This song is complex but not all of us are stupid enough to call everyone else a metally retarded person [which could be insulting to some people], a chav, or a bimbo.
Brendon IS hot, but so is Pete. BUT WHO HERE MENTIONED BRENDON BEING HOT??? AND WHAT DO HE AND PETE HAVE TO DO WITH THE SONG INTERPRETATION??? NOTHING!!!!
THREE CHEERS FOR SWEET PANIC! AT THE DISCO!!!! [Oops...wrong album, wrong band!! hehe]

why go for the obvious? | Reviewer: Vana | 7/7/2007

Personally I think it would be way too cliche for P!ATD to be singing about the hypocrisy of religion. I think there is a metaphoric sense to these lyrics, and to me at least he's comparing our generation of wannabees to a parish, because they don't stay true to themselves.
If the lyrics were truly about the church, then why are the lyrics ‘IF this SCENE were a parish’? And at what point do members of the church slit their hearts and wrists? It just doesn’t make any sense! Please people, challenge your minds a bit, look beyond the obvious!

But that's just my view, everyone's free to think differently!

    Interpretation | Reviewer: Red. | 7/5/2007

I think this song is just pointing out the hypocrisy of stereotypes in general, you can interpret it to be about religion or scene kids or whatever you want it to be.

    Coming from a Christian... | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/26/2007

Haha, this song is awesome! I think it's a very good description of church. It sucks when people try to shove things down out throats when they don't believe it themselves, and they try all the time.

YOUR ALL WRONG!!! | Reviewer: miss emo | 6/15/2007

the song is so not about stereotypes (it mostly talks about church, DUH)and so what if people think brendon is hot(hes not that great, pete wents from fall out boy is what u call hot!), the song is great and if you dont like it your either mentally retarded, a chav or a bimbo!
i luv this song but prefer theres a good reason these tables are numbered honey you just havent thought of it yet, its wicked! u gotta here it.

    My opinion | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/1/2007

the song talking is asking, where are lives are headed? The gunslingers are people who take high risks for quick gain and the walking convictions are people who are guilty of something and are always looking over their shoulder to see if anyone will discover their secret. Panic! is saying if we're going to say we're christian maybe we should look and see what we're doing in our lives.
