"And I for one can see no blood from the hearts and the wrists you allegedly slit
And I for one wont stand for this if this scene were a parish you'd all be condemned."
That part is clearly about the emoscene. Everyone says emos slits their wrists, and put weird videos on youtube crying, but that doesn't really happen. It's a stereotype that doesn't exist. Well, ok, some may do the wrist-thingy. But thats not a huge amount of people.

I dont think its about religion...i think its just saying that this scene is like a religion...adn that the religion thing isnt to be taken litrally...more like a metaphor.

i think its not only this text, within they sing their opinion bout the society. this is, like...
lying is the most fun...a.s.o a critic- song.
i had a talk about i constantly thank god...
at school. and my teacher didnt get why its called this way... i neighter do.
i dont care. but the text is good.^^
amazing | Reviewer: Stella | 11/25/2007
this is just amazing. there are so many meanings, and probably a lot that i don't even know yet.
his vocals are also amazing in this song. for some reason i love the way he sings, 'you'll be thy witness'
also, i love how he sings 'just stay where i can see you' the first time. it's so beautiful. i love this song!
Sigh | Reviewer: Sirena | 11/5/2007
It's not about the kids today, emo...stuff like that. It's about RELIGION. The inconsistancy of preachers and people who consider themselves a holy person. Why? Because only god and Jesus are the only ones who are PERFECT. Never sinning. It's about how technically preachers and and others like that are hypocrits, because they talk about how life for a Christian (or anything else that believes in holiness, being cleansed...ect.) must be filled with being a person of god, and being as perfect as Jesus, following god's footsteps, when really they never can be because people sin everyday. Like, how people go to church and are only "a person of God" under that order. When, they get out they are comepletely wild. It's about consistancy, religion, and hypocritacy.

This is a really smart song by P@TD. Mostly, you would expect that a lot of "emo's"(i am so sick of that word) would listen to this song. The lyrics in it are actually dissing them. so while the emos are listening and singing along they are bagging out themselves. but even without the meaning behind the lyrics, this is a good song

Uhhh | Reviewer: Yeah | 9/1/2007
This song could be taken two ways. Its either talking about religion or talking about the scene today. Now nobody nees to bite my head because I NEVER said the 'scene' sucked or w/e. I, personally dont like this track that much, but if you do go for you. Anyway good job P!ATD for writing such lyrics
