my outlook on the lyrics | Reviewer: kyla | 8/18/07

the lady they r reffering to is a "working girl" hoe/hooker.. she is in one of those cheap motels doing things for money.. the "purse" of a different kind i think is tlkin bout like a seductive pose she makes with her lips.. but anyways.. P!atd best song in my opinion..

"purse" of a different kind | Reviewer: Taylor | 8/15/07

the girl in the song was obviously doing something that when whoever interrupted her she spilled her stuff and was very upset so she held a "purse" of a different kind, usually meaning the mouth was very tight and annoyed looking. kind of like a mother's look when they see you doing something they don't like.

about this... | Reviewer: Anonymous | 8/13/07

Well I really don't get this song. & if the girl is turning away from God to get love, that's not possible. True Love comes from God.
Just wanted to put that out there for everyone. :)

Ok A Purse is a pocket book, but it can also be Lip pucker. See she was fixing her face in a compact meaning she was putting on make-up. But why, you ask? Because the cop had made a proposition for the "virgin" that when she got through with the lawyer he gets a turn, I'm guessing. When the cop busts through the door she drops her bag and makes a kissing come and get me pucker. or somwhere along those lines. By the way I love this song!

Amazing. | Reviewer: Lauren | 8/6/07

I love Panic, they're so good and this song is their best, in my opinion. I'm listening to it on repeat right now. I can understand the lyrics up to : "She spilled her purse and her bag,
and held a "purse" of a different kind.". If you know what it means, could you tell me? I think it could possibly mean that she's pregnant, the purse could be her stomach, and the baby is the consequence of her actions. What do you all think?

Wow | Reviewer: There is always ME. | 8/2/07

I really love P!ATD because they are so different from any bands these days. I love this song, it's kind of complex and for some hard to understand at first. The way they get their song titles is awesome. (they're quotes from movies or books they like, if you don't know) And their lyrics actually are awesome and not cheesy. Anyway just wanted to say that they are awesome!
