build god then we'll talk | Reviewer: stenia | 7/29/08
now i get it
There are no raindrops on roses and girls in white dresses.
im guessing it means, there aren't anymore girls that get married a virgin now beause they're sleeping with all these men
which is wrong because a white wedding dress is supposed to symbolize that a women is pur meaning a virgin and hasent slept with any men yet
idk why people think this band is so emo and gay because they're AWESOME people should listen to them and listen to their lyrics they might learn something
i love this song and the band <3
really awesum song!!! | Reviewer: discluv | 7/15/08
i think that the ppl who think this song is just random words are wrong cause it does have a very deep meaning and the clip has a slightly seperats but still very deep message. but really it is all about sex and relationships and how its become about money and personal gain instead of love and intimacy and i think p@td tell it well. luv the song its awesum apart from all the deepness<hah new word... LUV ALL P@TD STUFF OLDAND NEW!!

Well God is the creator,(builder u can say) of everything , Their for no one can build a god, So, After you do the imposible "Then We'll talk" so , its like saying we will never talk . it doesnt sound random, I disagree with you Becs. Im sorry , But I do believe this is the meaning, Its quiet obviose, when they say " Then" means, after that you do the imposible , We will talk. :D Thanks
Build God, Then We'll Talk | Reviewer: bella | 6/26/08
The song is about how relationships{not just sex} have false feelings of intimacy and have become devoid of meaning. Basically it's saying that relationships have become empty, there are no real feelings involved anymore.
choke. | Reviewer: kate | 6/17/08
"build god, then we'll talk" is a quote from a book. i'm pretty sure the book is called choke. i can't remember off the top of my head, but that line always stuck out to me. the book is from the same guy who wrote fight club. :)
and the name still isn't coming to me..

Actually.. | Reviewer: Your fav gurl | 5/22/08
This particular song is about: A hooker ! (Caricature of intimacy)
They set up the lyrics to tell a story about the routine a hooker goes through on a usual night.. but this one happens to be The night she got caught.
"Tonight tenants range from a lawyer and a virgin" (keyword Tonight)
"Moonlighting aside, she really needs his money
Oh, What a wonderful caricature of intimacy. yeah"-Moonlighting :To work at another job, often at night, ( "what a wonderful caricature of intimacy")in addition to one's full-time job."( "what a wonderful caricature of intimacy")= Hooker.
Purse of a different kind = Black book. black book: a little note pad often used to write down names of clientel, or important dates and times. " Along with The people inside "
"There are no
Raindrops on roses and girls in white dresses
It's sleeping with roaches and taking best guesses
At the shade of the sheets before all the stains
And a few more of your least favorite things"- Textbook lyrics for a sad life...
The terrible crash is when the cops came in and busted her...
The end.
Build God, Then We'll Talk- | Reviewer: Rose | 5/12/08
Panic did an awesome job on this song. The first time I watched the video was the first time i heard the song. So the whole time I was thinking WTF!?!- this is soooo wrong!! But after awhile I started getting the message and thought how the video had a meaning to it. It does mean that sex has become so fake and its only an act of self pleasure, not out of love. If you actually listen to the words, you'd get it.
great song. | Reviewer: Alicia | 5/2/08
this song rocks so effin hard man. if you really pick apart the lyrics and listen and think about it it's just a deep song. and the video is pretty awesome too. not because it's quite perverted.. because in a way it is, but if you pick it apart it tells a story and delivers a message that i think panic was trying to get out there about how sex has become so fake and mimed. Something used as currency or just because as opposed to what it's supposed to be something wonderful shard between two lovers.
