Maybe it's about a man, or kid, who keeps getting himself stuck in the hospital by semi-subconsciously arranging violent and painful accidents. "You're a regular decorated emergency" - So this guy is a regular at the hospital and he's decorated. When they say decorated, I'm assuming that they mean "decorated soldier". So, he has won metals for it in a figuratively speaking sarcastic way. All in all, I think this song is more for painting a tone than painting the whole picture. I think the vagueness is what makes people this it's so "deep". It is a very catchy song that I do like. Although it doesn't paint a complete picture, it is evocative. And for all of the people writing "OMG, TH1S S0NG IS S00000 D33P!!", if you think it's "soooo deep", why can't you figure out why? Don't just SAY it's deep, tell us WHY it is deep.
