------ performed by Panic! At The Disco

good | Reviewer: Samantha | 4/10/08

Well, to answer your question, I think what the mean by "spilled her bag and purse and held a purse of a differnt kind," that she lost all of her money [spilled her purse and bad,] and therefore had to resulty to immoral acts, [held a purse of a different kind.]As for the line "between her and a badge," maybe she was sleeping with a higher class citizen, but I'm not sure.

awesome | Reviewer: patd lover | 4/7/08

this song is really great. when i first listened to it, i just caught a few words, like formalahyde an i was just like wtf? but once u hear it a few times, its the best song ever, and i listen to it every time i turn my ipod on. its awesome beat, and random lyrics make it addictive and i love that about it. i am confused when it goes- "between her and a badge, she spilled her purse and her bag, and held a purse of a different kind.." please explain!!!

Hmm... | Reviewer: Becs | 4/3/08

I think this title 'Build God, Then We'll Talk' is just P!atD's way of making people think theres a deep meaning to the title, but really they just put random words together... Can't you just see them doing that? :P

uuuh! | Reviewer: shhh! | 3/31/08

i love the firts cd of P!atd... and i'm very disapointed because the second is worse than the first! T.T pretty odd is more.. happy? it hasn't these kind of lyrics and the songs are very slowwww
Where are the guitars??!!! i couldn't find them!!
;( waht a pity, they were fantastic..

Somebody please explain | Reviewer: Anonymous | 3/26/08

I was just wondering what the lyrics really have to do with God. i read that Ryan Ross went to Catholic schools, but I don`t really get what they`re saying about God here so if somebody can please explain, that`d be nice. :)

think of it. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 3/17/08

hey guys i've noticed many of you like analyzing the lyrics of this song cuz they're great and also some are concerned abt the title, haven't you think that "building God" is not technically building him? it refers to the intimacy between the woman and the lawyer, i mean, that first they'll know well each other as God brought them to to live (you know what i mean) and then they may ask their names.... if they really "felt in heaven"

asbestos and the rest | Reviewer: Intellectual Feeler | 3/12/08

asbestos and formaldehyde are indorr air pollutats that generally come from constructio materials like insulation (asbestos) and particle board(formaldehyde). They are particularly dangerous when the little paticles get into the air.

I absolutely LOVE this song because there are so many levels to it and it really makes you think. I love that they transformed "My Fvorite Things" and added it into their song so seamlessly. It is really amazing. I really appreciate that Panic! uses the gifts they have like varried rhythms, wide vocal range, and intelligent lyrics. It is great that it never seems that they just write songs quickly to fil an album

I <3 Panic! ---can't wair for the new CD!!

love this song! but i'm confused | Reviewer: Anonymous | 3/10/08

i absolutely love this song! it is awesome! but what is an asbestos??? or a formaldehyde??? sorry if i'm being really stupid....i just don't know what those words mean,so if you know could you please tell me?! thanks!

RE: Sarah | Reviewer: Lanes | 3/3/08

I disagree you. You say building God is impossible, and while I don't believe in any faith, I still think that building God is possible. My family is very, very religious, so I go to church on events and stuff, and I do know the church's bishop, Mathew, I believe, didn't believe in God until a tragedy struck him. His friend suggested he go to his church service with him a few times. And he did. While it came gradually, he believes over the course of two months, he built faith, and, to paraphrase him, built God. I, personally, think it's all matter of ideas, but then again, that's just an idea, also.

Anyway, I love this song... and Panic At The Disco, period. Plus Brendon Urie is sexy. My dog is named after him, Boyd... for those of you who don't know, his full name (Brendon Urie, not my dog, lol) is Brendon Boyd Urie. Hehe, I'm such a fangirl, what a geek, eh?
