Especially the chorus states "I'm not the type to say I told you so". Looking back at all my struggle and all the times I acted out to cover the darkness that was in me, I'm eternally grateful for what He has done in my life. Now that it's me and Jesus, I'm soldiering on, through the whispers, the talks behind the back, and the hate. I believe what I believe, no matter what. When that day of His Glorious Return comes, I will wave goodbye as I rise to the sky. Then when He comes down with His Saints, I'll find my friends with my eternal body.
