To Lucinda, Like others have said, I'm very sorry about your daughter, but to make an accusation that this song is the reason your Caroline committed suicide is not logical. Like you said, she was academically talented, thus smart, I'm sure she would have gotten over this song after hearing it a couple of times if it truly offended. Please don't hold Outkast responsible for her passing, they are simply artists who make music, never directed at anyone. If they admit to your daughter being a target, I am sincerely sorry for all these things that I have said and I am completely on your side. Please try to see past your dislike for this song and try to see what it must have been that your daughter liked about them. They have brought hapiness to people with their art in the past.
