all she did was sit on a bus | Reviewer: Ve tra | 6/26/07
kudos to the person who relizes the true meaning of the song. she turned tides and so did outkast. did you ever think her intentions werent to make a stand and start a movement. be realistic, sh ewas tiered. and stubburn yes tiems were bad but realistically thinking she did not make that stand at the time for the reasons she is said to have made them. yeah it was and amazing stand but by no means is she this god that people are trying to portray her as. outkast did not bash her its simply a metaphor...DUH dont take things so literal
GOOD ASS SONG | Reviewer: Thinking | 6/15/07
you guys are a bunch of bitches, it's called rosa parks because it means that like she helped turned the tides of prejudice, Outkast is changing the tides of hip hop, you guys don't know shit about this. it's fun to listen to anyway and it has good rhyming so shut the fuck up
GOOD | Reviewer: Shut up | 5/4/07
Shut up you crybaby pussies no one cares, they made money from the song. Rosa parks was just planted there by the panthers to make controversey and it worked

Actually, the estate of Rosa Parks brought a false endorsement case (amongst other things) regarding just this thread's issue. Rosa Parks believed that this song was absolutely NOT what her public persona represented and brought suit. Unfortunately, she died and her estate settled out of court for presumably a large sum. Make your own decisions on what the song is really about, but I hate it. http://blackvoices.aol.com/entmain/music/fmo10104/20050225

Bad... and a Disgrace | Reviewer: Anonymous | 4/19/07
I can't believe that someone would write such a shallow song and even mentioning the name of such a respectable woman such as Rosa Parks is just plain low. It's a good thing she sued them for this dumb piece of crap.
P.S No, she isn't the only one who sat in the front row of a bus but she is the only one that took a stand inside and outside the bus boycott and stuck with it for that long.
more than her | Reviewer: Anonymous | 2/26/07
this song is not crap. one: its got soul, rythym, a purpose. two: Rosa Parks is not the only one who sat in the front row of a bus.
Crap!! | Reviewer: Anonymous | 9/29/06
This song is crap! To take the memory of one of the strongest women in the history of the US and put her in a song like this!!!! Not to mention all the "jive" talk. Come on people, that talk went out with the 70's, along with 'groovy' and the Brady Bunch!
not crap | Reviewer: Anonymous | 3/23/05
This is my favorite song. Its a blend of rap and a kind of blues feel. Definitely not crap.
