Respect | Reviewer: Will D. | 5/27/09

I love to randomly find posts of people spouting out various preposterous accusations and trumped up variations of "the meaning". Let it be. This song was a hit. Rosa did a great thing, regardless of whether she intended to or not. There's still racism here in the U.S., but it's everywhere. Maybe not black and white, but it's still everywhere. As long as greed rules a person's thoughts anger and hostility will occur, bigotry and racism will be rampant, and wars will be started over school yard quarrels. To affect the world you have to affect your own life around you.

you all are fucking idiots | Reviewer: Anonymous | 12/14/08

look some of you need to go back to fucking highschool because so far every qoute i've seen is that because of rosa parks racism and prejudice has stopped first of all thats bullshit racism is still everywhere not only that but there is still slavery in certain parts of the world also it took the U.S. almost a hundred years just to get through their thick skulls that slavery was wrong and even after that there was still pro-slavery mobs and abolistionts fighting the north and the south hated eachother for this so saying that rosa parks had something to do with this is rediculous im not saying that what she did wasn't important but that is just one incident that is highlighted in the years and years of racism since our country began so chill the fuck out the song is nasty and pay the fuck attention in school or read a god damn history book

Rosa Parks | Reviewer: ?????? | 11/25/08

Damn this song is cool and everyting but like i mean iz like makin fun of rosa when she made a sacrifice. Knowing she was going to get arretsed it didn't matter to her and we should respesct dat and outkast by using her name aand dat chorus waz offendin he. I'm a latina and well i appreciate it cuz rite now evryting would b all diffrent and segragation still be on. So I think outksat shouldn't have used her name.

Hope your reality check bounces | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/6/08

You guys are really ridiculous. Any haters on Outkast or this song needs a reality check. This song is an innocent, boundless song about our lives and how our nation has been set back for so many years. You people who hate are just ignorant, or just plain racist.

Gee Stahh ,, | Reviewer: Georgia | 11/4/08

The Way You Gotta Look At It Is That Rosa Parks Was Willing To Sacrifice Herself For What She Belived In And That Hopefully The Generations In The Future , NBut I Dont Think Using Her Name Was A Good Idea And To Be Honest If It Wasnt For Her You Never Know How The World Could Be Now So No They Shouldnt Of Brung Rosa Parks Into Thibgs At All !! God Blees Her Soul Rosa Parks xxx

hello | Reviewer: frank walls | 10/27/07

listen you idiots. come on now. let's say your'e rosa parks, you're a poor black activist, in the sixties, and you had to go through that oppression and segregation. some black group outkast makes a song about you, and wouldn't you want some of the money? the song is pretty damn awesome, it's got a nice beat, nice guitar riff, cool lyrics and it isn't talking about smacking mothers around, bitches and hoes, putting down women, or smokin weed or drinkin...an actual good hip hop song, which by the way is extreamely danceable, even breakdancers and hip hop dancers can get off to this beat. take a look in the mirror at yourself. i'll look at myself. we ain't no different! you're just mad at the fact that YOU didn't get any of the money! outkast, write a song about me and make me some loot jack! peace great song

Rosa Parks | Reviewer: Cat | 10/15/07

This song tries to hit home with a new generation. This is about making other people, white black green yellow purple whatever, move to the front of the bus. Its about making a statement for our generation. I love this song and I think because it starts a discussion it can't be all bad, even if you disagree.

Jive!? What!? | Reviewer: Derus | 9/9/07

You're the one who's prejudiced, you know that? Just because it's a hip hop song you immediatly claim its crap. What, do you think OutKast just randomly but Rosa Parks as their title in a fit of obscureness? Just listen to Andre's verse. With your ears and mind open!!!!!! And how can you say its jive in such a negative way!!?? Why don't we just destroy all of your dearest language huh!? Screw whatever you like to say!!!! God Damn Ignorant!!!

i dont care | Reviewer: Jaye | 8/20/07

I don't care what yall say they was wrong for using the woman name with out her permission!
