Not only my favourite Oasis song, but my all time favourite. The melody and power (plus lyrics) of the song are amazing. I've only heard them play this live once and it blew me away. Shows what great songwriter Noel was in his early days.

Slide Away is one of Oasis' best songs. It's brilliant to think it is on their debut album!
Song's like this can't be looked over. Liam's vocals on the original version on Definitely Maybe are pefected, and Noel's Live and Acoustic version is just as good!

one of the lesser known oasis songs yet in my eyes probably the best of all they have wrote and sung. Beautifully sung and written this song has so much compassion and is one for the true fan of the band. Every truly great album requires a song like this for the fans and this is it!!! great
