Simply an amazing performance and probably the best song of a perfect all-round performance. I Agree with the other dude, although Bowie wrote, his performance doesn't give hte same raw emotion which, i feel, Kurt's voice can only do. One of my all-time favourites.

in my opinion although david bowie write the song nirvana prfected it there is no way he could ever top that performance.
hearing kurt sing is like nothing else in the world i just love the emotion he puts into his art when you sit there close yuor eyes and listen and sing along you feel his emotions too.
there is no other band that i can conect with like that nirvana operate on a completely different level to any other band. they truely are the greatest. btw a big fuck you to joe ward you insensitive narrow minded prick! nirvana were the most influencial band of the90's and in my opinion the world. you are not worthy of even thinking his name! you are pure scum. kurt is by far the greatest person who ever lived. you are lower than shit!

Supprise! | Reviewer: Muhammad Nazreen | 11/15/07

This song is about a normal daily end of time man's state destined to meet with Prophet Eesa ('alaihissalam) or you what call Jesus. Although he laughed in disbelieve after being told about the fact at first, for years after that, he never forgot his meaningful stare that really changed his view about the reality of life for eternity.

Surprised? | Reviewer: Naz | 11/9/07

This song compossed to picture a man's feeling when he surprisedly met Prophet Eesa (AS) @ Jesus. Thou he laughed at first to his story, but the memory from the glare of truth from his eyes then changed the person's whole view about life afterwords. Viewing TIME as FOREVER.

(p/s)WE never lost control!

the man who sold the world | Reviewer: Anonymous | 9/21/07

this song is amazing,
a man who had everything in his life, died in the end with nothing. all alone.
well thats what i got outta it

strain | Reviewer: T Joseph Lhungdim | 9/11/07

the song is perfect as the writer has just sung the in his own strain.......we like it and sing not in the world's 'strain' but in the singer's 'strain'.

Suicide | Reviewer: Bruce | 9/4/07

A suicidal singer covering this song just shows good taste. It would be much harder to write when happy.

cry with this song | Reviewer: Liz | 7/31/07

I LOVE the emotion this song brings you up when you hear it, the feeling that Kurt Cobain puts in it makes it even more special. And the lyrics have that implicit meaning... good for Bowie!
who pick this song for nirvana's unplugged? best decision ever made!

Nirvana | Reviewer: Giorgos | 7/11/07

a classic | Reviewer: toea | 6/8/07

the man who sold the world, originally written by david bowie, is a great song but the nirvana version is a classic; its cobain's voice that makes the difference; there is this ache and melancholy in his voice that gets to you. its too good.

Haunting | Reviewer: Alex | 5/5/07

this song is incredibly haunting, creepy even

a good cover but i prefer Bowie's originasl, which is way more atmospheric, what with the unearhtly wailing in the end

I love this song, is so good! I don't know if he kill himself, but the most important thing is the music that he left .. don't you think the same?

freaking amazing | Reviewer: Nadesiko | 4/28/07

I absolutely ADORE this song. Shame that cobain didn't show that much of excitment whe he sang it (sorry for the norvana fans, but let's face it: the guy didn't have fun in that concert-judging by his face)
By the way, to Joe Ward:
who the fuck do you think you are? Kurt had a talent that you, even in your best dreams, would never have. So shut the fuck up!
