The Reviews about Milk It (page 3/ 3)
------ performed by Nirvana

well, I've read somewhere that this song was written about the relationship between a fan and a singer. :/

well well | Reviewer: josh | 4/24/07

i love how kurt always made sure there would be questions about his lyrics. he was always so purposely misunderstood. if anyone really understood what his lyrics meant they'd probably shoot themselves in the face too. people question whether or not kurt was suicidal. its so completely obvious that he wasn't meant for this earth and the way things are done here. "obituary birthday"? i mean come on. he knew he was doomed from the start and he thrived on that. kurt was the epidemy of suicide...

Wow | Reviewer: RustySpoonz | 4/1/07

In the cd booklet for the In Utero CD, it says "Doll Steak" and "Test Meat" instead of "Test Me!
Don't stay!", he clearly says "Doll steak" in the song

wtf? | Reviewer: marvin | 2/14/07

Lack of iron and/or sleeping=I can lie here i'm not sleepy. i'm pretty sure test meat is wrong too, but i can't tell what the fuck it really is!

Not | Reviewer: Doom | 2/22/07

As a pioneer of emoviolence in Russia, I can catagorically state that Milk It is not screamo. In fact, it is not progfagitron either. Pooodly woo!

Similar to...? | Reviewer: Carina Sin | 2/11/07

That song is brilliant. It has a very original, hard to copy intro. He's being a bit ironic, and myabe he's singing from the perspective of the other person - that would be very his style.
Milk It is similar to Scentless Apprentice, it has a specific drums.

Milk It! | Reviewer: andrew | 7/28/05

It's a song (and many Nirvana songs encompass this feeling) of losing everything and having nothing left but your own thoughts as comfort. "Look on the bright side, suicide; lost eyesight, I'm on your side!" It's a beautiful song. Nirvana comes off as too rough and hard for most people. Songs like "Milk It" and "Scentless Apprentice" employ grotesque lyrics - "I am my own parasite; I don't need a host to live; we feed off of each other; we can share our endorphins." It is the reflection of the ennui and anger of a generation; anger specifically at the fact that one is born in the first place, and that one has to be alive to endure pain. "Milk It" paints the mind as the one savior in a seemingly desolate human world with an even more dismal outlook... in the most positive way possible.

My review title? | Reviewer: Sneasel | 7/27/05

I love this song, even though it's just all screamo. I love Nirvana too much too much so I don't dislike any of their songs! I especially love the: Angel left wing, right wing, broken wing.

xD
