Dave Grohl Absolutely Sings This. | Reviewer: Chelsea | 7/27/08
Dave Grohl sings it. Watch any video, you'll see. Not to mention, it doesn't sound like Kurt at all. There's no possible way that this is Kurt, so for any "pronunciations" that sound like Kurt, maybe Dave says things the same way as him? Maybe Dave sings like Kurt, but he does not sound like him.
JUSTIN IS A FAG!!! | Reviewer: tgh | 7/11/08
Justin, you're a faggot. Kurt died for us, like Jesus, because he was too afriad of his exictment. He had a bad childhood because when he was a teenager, he lived under a bridge. He recorded his first album "Bleach". When they recorded "Nevermind" Nirvana were a really rich band. So suck my dick goodbye you wang-tang dickhead bastard Jesus comunist bitch bastard!
DAVE GORHL SINGS THIS!!! | Reviewer: Me | 7/11/08
Okay, Dave Grohl wrote this song and sang it. No, AK. It's not Krist. He dose not sound like this. Compare it with a Foo's song. It is him. end of story, everyone knows. Goodnight motherfuckers who thinks it's Kurt or Krist. It's Dave.
what the hell? | Reviewer: Justin Switalski | 4/9/08
Ok you crazy people why in the hell are you arguing about who sings it? Does it really matter? Just focus on the fact that it is nirvana and it is a very good song we all know who is singing it its good and without it i dont think i would look at nirvana the way i do because it is one of my favorites by those junkies!! Just kidding only kurt was the true junky, but i will end this by saying the song is great so stop pissing and moaning about the wrong things piss and moan about the selfish bastard who killed himself, yeah f#@k the conspiracy theories and let it be!

dave ghrol wrte and recorded this son with krist while waiting for kurt to arrive to a recording session.
it also appears in the FOO FIGHTERS album skin and bones.
dave wrote it and dave sung it for fuck sake research into things before you start to debate them kurt DID NOT! write it.
No | Reviewer: Ak | 1/1/08
You lot are all fuck-ups. This is CLEARLY krist. I mean, what the fuck do the rest of you have as ears?
No, seriously though, dave is the one singing it, not kurt (or krist!). I can see how some people might think it's kurt singing softly, and it's kinda similar, but no ... it's clearly dave: go get your ears checked out.
Also, note that this song appears as a b-side on the HSB single, and also on Outces III. From what I remember, the Outces version is grohl's demo tape version and has absolutely no kurt contribution. The HSB version is more polished and apparently has krist on bass; but, again, no kurt.
Final Word. | Reviewer: truckfukkr | 1/2/08
ok, ok... you guys here seem to be in some confusion about who is singing this song. the answer lies in the session notes taken by the producer, Steve Albini at Pachyderm Studios in 1993. So here is the final word on who is and who isn't singing on this track.
DAVE GROHL
Dave is the only one who does any vocals on this track. Yes, Kurt Cobain had a very versitile voice, but he makes no appearence during the whole track. In fact, the session notes seem to indicate that Kurt wasn't even present during the recording, arriving 2 days later and beginning work on recording "Sappy". So there it is people, peace.

This is obviously Dave Grohl singing, it sounds exactly like him, beyond a shadow of a doubt and anyone who thinks otherwise should be slapped i wanna fucking beat the guy who posted "what a genius" right now cuz HE is the most ignorant and idiotic person ive seen in my life
Singer Songwriter. | Reviewer: Metal Cat | 11/28/07
Krist Novoselic plays the Bass... all other instruments and vocals and writing are done by Dave Grohl.
If you have the Heart Shaped Box single, please read the liner.
The song is well known not only for being a good song, but for being a very rare break in Cobain's tight grip over everything band related.

I'm sure it's kurt singing. Listen to this and other songs, if you really like them, you will find some specialities in kurt's style of singing. it's not only voice, it's style of pronounciation etc.
Of course the song was written by Dave, he said that, I don't think he has any reasons to lie.
And I can hear him clearly as a backvocalist in chorus.
*sorry for my english.
