He was just a singer | Reviewer: hugsandkisses | 7/28/09
What a sad self-deserted little boy and now he will never grow up. He hated himself and a shotgun was the easiest way to catch that final curtain. Anyone who listens to his music will more than likely go the same way. I couldn't understand one letter of lyics,I had to look them up..what junk.

I believe that he technically killed himself, but there is someone who could take some of the blame.
Someone who could have said and did things in a different way, had they understood him.
I dont think he killed himself because of drugs, thats a stupid explanation. He killed himself because he didnt want to grow up and change, and that what its about when he says that he doesnt feel his music anymore (in the suicide note).
He doesnt come from a normal family, and he is afraid of such things. Nobody understands that.

You guys acting like you knew Kurt Cobain, knew all about him and his life, what went on in his mind, you're all a fucking bad joke. ooooh look at me acting like I was his fucking psychiatrist "I always assumed this song was about his bipolar disorder and the excitement curbed by indifference" or did you just find a quote from somewhere and rip it off and as for "wish he was alive now" - HOW THE FUCK do you know what life would be like if he was still alive, in the grand scheme of things probably it would matter not one bit, even musically you have no idea, yeah they had a big following but that was made even bigger as the band was infamous for having that singer who killed himself, you are all a bunch of self-righteous pricks who want to look like you have an interesting perspective on things just to mask the fact you probably joined the following after his death

Well, I was born three month before Cobain kills himself. Someone I meet told me that he wasn't happy at/in (I'm spanish) his lasts concerts. I wish that he could be alive. He was a big person for a long long time.
Lithium was for his bipolar disorder | Reviewer: Silver | 5/20/09
I always assumed this song was about his bipolar disorder and the excitement curbed by indifference that the disease has when ppl take lithium. Anyway, his death probably had something to do with the disease - a lot of ppl with bipolar commit suicide if they aren't on meds.
Great Song | Reviewer: Cobain4president | 4/23/09
Great song, one of my many favourite Nirvana songs :)
Shannon Silvett, how can you go on about Kurt Cobain and how much stuff you know when you can't even spell his name correctly. Do some research my friend.
I love this song. | Reviewer: Emily | 4/19/09
Especially the lines; "Sunday morning. Is everyday for all I care. And I'm not scared. Light my candles. In a daze cause I've found God.". Maybe Kurt was onto something. Anyway, great lyrics, this is my favourite song, although I need to buy their first album at some point :D
If you really are interested do the research.... | Reviewer: Shannon Silvett | 4/16/09
I think Kurt Kobain is an amazing person, singer/songwriter, and musician, however, very misunderstood for a number of reasons: First, Kurt started taking heroin because he had a rare stomach disorder that every doctor he went to couldn't diagnose, so he started taking heroin as an analgesic (pain reliever) because no medication was strong enough to relieve his pain. He later found (and wrote) that the herion experience was not a good one. Secondly, Kurt killed himself because the media along with all the other things he despised, was corrupting and rotting his music, personal identity, and even more important his message and passion. He was being made into another sheep in the herd, which was a sickening thought in his mind. Do some research...read his journals. Know that Kurt Kobain had strong messages that he wanted out in the world, however, the power of worldwide ordinariness and ignorance overcame his passion.
Nirvana is the best band ever!!! | Reviewer: kelsey | 3/26/09
Im only 14 years old the first song i ever heard was smells like teen spirit i luv it!!!this song has to be one of my fav.songz ever! I wasnt even born when kurt died i was born december of that year (1994) i wish i couldve had the chance to meet him...
Amazing | Reviewer: Wilko | 2/27/09
2 things,
first, Kurt did kill himself. Stop with all the conspiracy shit that Courtney killed him. She was fucking out of town when he killed himself - he was found dead 2 days after his death, by a gardner who was trying to get into Kurt's tool shed *he looked in the window and saw a body, and blood*
He was extremely depressed, and didnt 'feel' the music anymore (As said in his SUICIDE note) that he just wrote. No one understood what his songs were about, listen to 'Smells like Teen Spirit', and 'In Bloom'.. it should stand out.
He did kill himself, sad but true.
Kurt had one hell of a talent, I would do anything to meet him if I could.
Not too many groups at all that sound awesome with 3 instruments.
wait just a sec... | Reviewer: Ash | 2/23/09
im a kurt fanatic. he is my all time ultimate hero. i believe that he did NOT kill himself. i think that people got bored working on his unsolved case and thought "o well we have no idea so lets just say he killed himself because he is a druggie." i firmly believe that someone else such as courtney love....killed him for $ and fame.
cortnney and dave | Reviewer: Caleb Longe | 2/13/09
i dont believe kurt killed himself. he was to messed up on heroin to even pick up that shotgun.courtney was jeolus of him and wanted his fame and fortune.and dave heard rumors about him being a bad drummer. saying that kurt said it.the mystery still lives. and so does cobain
RIP Kurt... | Reviewer: anonymous | 2/6/09
It's definitely a great song! I would not say the greatest but it's catchy and it's the perfect song if you are "up there". Too bad Kurt was so hooked up to drugs and decided to take his life (I wish someone had told him that he was a good guy with talent)... It's different when you are sober because you can understand a little better why he did what he did...peace...RIP Kurt!!!
