Kurt wanted people to think deep while reading his lyrics, the best part of Nirvana's music is the endless possibilities that cerain lyrics can lead you to, you can imagine a million different feelings and emotions from a simple verse of a song. Which in my opinion..is what truly makes music, especially Nirvana's really special. If you listened to "Smells like teen spirit" and consider yourself a true Nirvana Fan...You are a huge part of why Kurt later in life felt in a sense betrayed by music, he didn't get the same rush when he heard the audience applaud, and scream his name..because it was all a mess of commercial, radiohead, pathetic...FAKENESS.
