Repetitive and Lacking | Reviewer: Kurt | 1/1/07
The title sums it up, but in long form, the song, as interesting and creative as its lyrics are, is very repetitive in a grating sort of way. One cause of this is the vocals: the main voice lead is oftentimes very over-used. There are many segments of the song in which vocals are used where it would be much better without them. In addition, his voice is unrefined, and almost painful at points. ("Cay-un-currrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...")
The guitar work is simplistic, and there's just a lot more that could have been done for this song. It's not a bad tune, but it could use a lot of work.

I'm giving a rose to the part about the eating of cancer because i want to see more of that in 2007

This song seems to open up more perspectives on the average love-song. Usually, they're mellow and catchy, but this one is so deep and hard, it really seems to through you right into the lyrics. The words Kurt uses are just so poetical. U definately think this song is about his relationship with Courtney. She definately was an influence in his lyric writing.
Powerful | Reviewer: Lloyd | 7/29/06
This song has a certain power to it. It's sad and angry yet it is obviously a song influences by Kurt Cobain's love for Courtney and the female body. It's a great song that should be remembered by all Nirvana fans.
Awesome but makes no sense | Reviewer: David | 7/1/06
This song kick$ ass but makes absolutely no logical sense.
I guess most songs don't make sense any more though.

About this song | Reviewer: y0y0 | 3/4/06
When Courney was with Billy Corgan (smashing pupkings) before the Kurt Cobain period,
she kept all Billy's poems in an heart shaped box.
after discovering the Box, Kurt wrote this song.
'Gaves him good inspiration! ;)
That's for the little story.
Funny...
Always turned up | Reviewer: Anonymous | 1/5/06
Perhaps a favorite song - I looked it up on the internet and the chords are hardly recognizable chords, apparently Kurt was inventing.
So is this about Courtney? That is the question.
Amazing Song. | Reviewer: ~Yula | 10/27/05
I think this is an AMAZING song. The lyrics are so different and unique. Kurts vocals add some intensity to it. Its incredible - Listen to it.

It is so intense in a way that no other group can match, it is somthing that only Nirvana can do. It has the perfect mix of soft hard lyrics that Kurt definetly mastered unlike anyother. Great song.
Kali's Delusion | Reviewer: Kali | 8/31/05
Definately one of the best, yet not so notorious songs by Nirvana. The lyrics seem to beg you to decode them. It is definately a love song for ones dark side, that is saying that one has a light side. That deep desire that is expressed throughout Cobain's smooth and husky vocals, seems to blend well with the grungy backing that is so infamously Nirvana's trademark.
takes me straight onto kurt's suicide bed | Reviewer: john | 6/19/05
this is more than just a song. Its a phenomenon. Reminds me of the intense pain and turmoil that kurt was going thru.
Wish him good luck in his after life!!
