And for all u people who claim he ''Shot him self'' it isnt true. The doctors that examined him say he was to drugged up to even lift a gun. And havnt u noticed the ol=nly time he was really happy was when he was with his daughter Frances. So who are you to say that he would kill himself (When there werent even any finger prints on the gun) and leave his beloved child with that crazy bitch Kourtney!?!? Kourtney killed him for his money. She is a selfish, goldigger. And poor Frances has to hear about all the horrible things u ppl are saying about her father off the television and the internet. I'm not going to insult anybody, or call them stupid, I'm not gonna try and tell you all what I THINK these lyrics mean. I'm not gonna try and convince you that Kurt's death is a suicide or that Courtney killed him. I'm here to put in a few words about what this song and NIRVANA as a band means to me. To start with this is my favorite NIRVANA song. The lyrics have had me completely hooked from the second I heard this song. But what are lyrics? Poetry. It's all a beautifully constructed poem. Poetry comes in many forms and in Kurt's case it's all extremely personal. Who are we to try and convince other people what his OWN lyrics mean. We don't KNOW what they mean, we are NOT Kurt Cobain. Only Kurt knows what was going through his head when he scribbled these words down in one of his numerous journals. Just listen to it all and sing along if you want to. Who says we HAVE to know what it means? What's wrong with sitting alone in your room, pressing the "Play" button and singing along. Kurt has written some of the best poetry I've ever heard and I am perfectly content with singing the melodic words of NIRVANA. Also I have to say that it kind of annoys me when people talk about NIRVANA like Kurt was the only significant part of the band. NIRVANA is made up of three members, Kurt, Krist, and Dave. They ALL together make up NIRVANA. Kurt wrote beautiful lyrics, yes, but Krist also contributed to a large part of the creative aspect of developing the songs. And where would've both Kurt and Krist be without Dave. Dave is an amazing drummer and delivers the initial beat for every song, whether it's a hard, punchy song like Breed or a slowed down melodic song like Pennyroyal Tea, he can do it all, and it all blends in perfectly. There would be no NIRVANA without ANY of them. I don't care how any of you will reply to this. Call me a douchebag if you will, it's your opinion, like I said I don't care.
