okey, get this strate. obviously u know NOTHING ABOUT KURT. He did'nt torture small animals as a child. Although he did have a very fucked up childhood. His parents split up when he was a child and at one point was forced to live under a bridge. He was very good wih children and animals. it seems like t he only time he was really happy was wen he was with his daughter Frances, and wen he was with animals. HE DID NOT TORTURE ANIMALS RETARD!!!!!!! THATS THE LITTLE BOY FROM HALLOWEEN, STUPID!!!!!!!!!!

Dude, about drugs | Reviewer: Horfvitdown | 11/20/2008

I'm like 99.99% certain that this song is about heroin. Do the twist - I'm pretty sure that line's about tying off, but I suppose I could be wrong. Either way, Fluoxetine User, if that line is written by someone extremely happy it's probably not written by Kurt Cobain in the early 90's. I mean, I love the guy's music but let's face it, he did shit like torturing cats and other small animals when he was a kid... Not a very happy dude.

Greatest Love Song Ever | Reviewer: Fluoxetine User | 10/19/2008

This song is beautiful and the purest love song I have ever heard. "Come over and do the twist" Sounds like someone really happy to me, at least in that moment. "Love you so much it makes me sick" That's what love does to you. I love this one girl so much I got uncontrollably nervous around her and anxious to the point that I couldn't stand to be around her and yet I wouldn't not be around her. So I finally went to the doctor and got prescribed some medicine for this and other problems as well. Now I'm fine for the most part. I can handle being around her. She's a great friend and I don't care if that's all we ever are. "Beat me out of me" a violent reference, but dramatic and powerful. If you want to hear a song about his drug addiction, listen to Lithium.

Whatever | Reviewer: Tiago | 4/4/2008

For what I see it could mean 2 thing. Whether it is about drugs or about love. But is there any emotional difference between drug addiction or deeply falling in love? Both make you out of yourself. Both make you do stupid things. And the lack of both, can cause a huge depression. That ambiguity is what makes this poem so beautiful.

come on over. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 3/30/2008

I do think its about drugs, its pretty obvious. But i mean. A song, can mean many different things. Thats up for the listener to decide. Stop bickering about what the song is about, and discuss what it means to you :)

i love kurt

peace

Over do it | Reviewer: Lithium Lindsay | 3/11/2008

Man, what song by them isn't totally rockin! This song could be written for drug addiction, but It should have its own meaning and personal feeling.. that why i get from it.

The Truth Is Out There...

Its not neccesarily about drugs | Reviewer: Jesse | 1/12/2008

while this song could be about drugs and shit, doesnt mean it neccasarily is, just because he did drugs doesnt mean every song he wrote was about them.

About a Girl | Reviewer: Double | 1/3/2008

According to a biography of Kurt Cobain I read recently, it is about a girlfriend of his. He found that when he was around her he felt sick because he was nervous/exited to be around her. Of course I have also read that Cobain simply grabbed random lines from his dairies to make songs so its possible its an amalgamation of things.

Aneurysm | Reviewer: Alex | 12/16/2007

I'm almost 100% certain the lyrics are refrencing Kurt Cobains addiction to drugs. I don't know if anyone actually knows what it's about. At anyrate I hardly think its worth fellow Nirvana fans arguing over.

Aneurysm | Reviewer: A.J. Podman | 11/24/2007

This is a great song. Nirvana is one of my very favorite bands. I think Kurt left this song open for people's different interpretations. It could be his drug addiction, or something about a girlfriend or x-girlfriend. Whatever it was, he wrote an excellent song.

R.I.P KURT COBAIN
