The lyrics seem sum up how i'm feeling and, unlike Smells like Teen Spirit, it has not been over played and unlike Rape me it has not got a sinister twist on humanity. It is simply a song about the sad and lonely thoughts going through the mind of perhaps the last great rock hero. Its quirky sound, thanks to what i presume is some typically grunge style drop D tuning and kurts own compassion make All Apologies perhaps my favourite Nirvana song and it is different tracks like this that will ensure that although we are coming to the eleventh aniversary of Kurts Death, 'Kudt' lives on, through his music and his fans.
