the suicide note is pictured on wikipedia and it reads more like a break up letter to his wife, his blood herion level and the fact that its impossible for him to have used that gun with his hands as the trigger was too far to pull with his fingers and how did it get placed back laying on his chest (shotgun was inverted on Cobain's chest with his left hand wrapped around the barrel. However, no prints were found on the trigger.) and no trigger mechanism was found to allow him to use it on himself and the locked doors could only be locked from the OUTSIDE and so yeah I would strongly advise any rich bi-polar guys about to go thru a divorce not to make it know you might be suicidal coz it sure can tempt someone looking to gain from killing you...
great song | Reviewer: Anonymous | 7/9/11
i love nirvana, his lyrics ment nothing he said so himself, even if he did write he was happy in his songs, it was just lyrics. KURT DIDNT KILL HIMSELF
1. kurt had 3x the lethal dose of heroine in his blood, 1x the lethal dose of heroine puts you in a coma. 2.even if kurt did manage to not go into a coma, he would never be able to pick up a shotgun and shoot it, and then he would have to put his heroine kit that he cared around with him. 3. the shotgun had no fingerprints on it, someone wiped it. 4. courtney love offered someone 500k to "whack" him.
Kurt's death | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/25/11
To the person who posted he didn't: That is complete and totally unreliable clues to his death. Plus, look at when he made those three songs and see when it was announced that he had heroin problems. Him saying that he's happy in those songs and that he didn't have a gun is completely unreliable. But, I do agree that he didn't kill himself. It needs to be looked at more. Another thing, where is the original suicide note, that will lead us in the right direction. People have been sending photo copies of it to where three out of four people that are experts in peoples handwriting say that they can't tell who's it is.
kurt's death | Reviewer: Jon | 6/13/11
To the person who posted that he didn't kill himself...
I think the situation should have been analyzed more. I think that there was more to the story. But your reasons for thinking that he didn't kill himself are ridiculous. It was public knowledge that he was depressed and owned a gun. Read a biography sometime.
However, some details are sketchy concerning his death. Amount of blood present, drugs in his system, the way he was holding the gun, etc. I think it should've been investigated further, but its pretty much too late now.
The only thing we can do now is give Dave Grohl our undying gratitude for continuing with music. Long Live Foo Fighters!
Kurt killing himself | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/1/11
Kurt was a fucking amazing artist, my favorite singer, even today. And @3 below, people who are depressed usually hide it...I'm pretty good at faking a smile, and pretending I'm happy. I do it all the time. I guess Kurt was good at it too.
But then again, there is always the chance that Courtney did kill him. The last song he put out was about him leaving Courtney. Once he got it out, he died. There's always the chance...
Don't pin a note to me | Reviewer: Anonymous | 5/20/11
Honstly people Kurt DID kill him self. It sucks but its true. He talked and wrote about killing himself and death all the time. As for this song LOVE IT! Its about his girlfriend at the time Tracy Marander there are at least two diffrent versions of it the other goes"dont pin a note to me i do promise to agree" Tracy worked nights and offen wrote Kurt notes asking him to clean up and such. So since i dont know him personaly this is just what i think and if you dont agree thats fine. I totaly love Kurt RIP
The guy under me is an idiot. | Reviewer: The Bipolarbear | 5/10/11
Kurt killed himself necause he was afraid of his music becoming a corporate outline, so basically, he was afraid of his music being in adverts, TV Shows, themes, games. So you can shut your fucking mouth you dumbass fuck :)
Why Kurt did not kill himself | Reviewer: Anonymous | 5/8/11
I don't know why Kurt killed himself. Nirvana was doing so well! In fact, I believe that Courtney Love killed Kurt. Here are my clues:
1.) In the song Lithium, he states, "I'm so happy," in the first line! Why do you all think he is sad?
2.) Another fine example: His song Dumb states "I think I'm dumb maybe just happy." See? He said he was happy.
3.) MOST IMPORTANT CLUE:::::
In the song Come as You Are, he states over and over, "No I don't have a gun!" How could he killed himself if he had no gun?!
Alright, Courtney killed him, my clues are pure gold.

To everyone who's wondering what it's about- I've read his biography and it was about his girlfriend at the time, Tracey M-Something (I forget her last name) but he never told her it was about her, just played it for her, telling her he just wrote what came into his head and it wasn't about anyone or anything.
Nirvana is pretty good | Reviewer: Kenny | 12/22/10
Frankie i agree with you but this song could not be about that because at the time it was written he was just getting started with music really and Nirvana wasnt even at its peak yet and he was happy about playing music.
??? | Reviewer: Samm | 11/4/10
I just read the lyrics to this and the other reviews are probably right about him writing it about his girlfriend at the time, but when I listened to it I just thought he was talking about a prostitute.
I think it's ok | Reviewer: Anonymous | 8/12/10
I don't know why everyone likes this song, to me it isn't special. The lyrics are alright but not excellent like everyone says and musically (I haven't studied music) from what I can tell its very simple, comercial-like. True, Nirvana rocks, but that doens't mean Kurt's shit was gold.
Thoughts on the writing | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/15/10
The name originally came about when Kurt played it to the others and told them it had no title. They asked him what it was about and he said 'about a girl.' It was recorded for the Bleach album in 1988, which was around the time he was living with Tracey Marander. If you don't believe me you can check wikipedia or the biography "Heavier than Heaven."
Hmm. It's a Brilliant song! | Reviewer: Frankie | 6/1/10
Nirvana Was the founding fathers of grunge. I believe that Courtney Killed him. I also belive he wrote that note, but it wasn't a suicide note, it was a note telling all his fans and family he was done with music. Of, course Courtney added some parts. Accually she had filed a divorce before he was killed and the gun (he "shot" himself with)was purchased before he was in drug rehab in Cali ( I think maybe california??)So, to my conclusion. I think this song has a meaning as all of nirvana's songs. He Is looking for a person to help him in life cause hes tired of music! (maybe?)
It just brings you back... Always | Reviewer: Felix | 5/16/10
No matter how long I go without Nirvana and this song as one of the favorites I always come back and some of this stuff is what my band focuses on in fact if I could I would have Kurt write my bands songs as I could never live up to the skill that he had
R.I.P Kurt (Rock in heaven Forever)
