Trent has done it again. He's produced an album that has shed light on the current state of music. With Teeth an other NIN album that arguably has no bad songs on it. The transition is clear from one period of NIN to the other, each time I think Trent has taken parts and methods from each album of its particular era and streamlined them into something new without sacrificing the unmistakable sound of what NIN is. I think allot of people might be taken aback with how seeming normal the album sounds. In my view Trent is incapable of making a "normal album" on close inspection of the album the complex drums are there the beautiful sound scapes and Trent's unmistakable lyrical delivery. With teeth another amazingly crafted album.
All the Love in the world. A good choice for an album opener, Differs from the more aggressive opening for The Fragile, ( Somewhat Damaged). The songs intriguing drum beats and growing lyrical strength for out out the songs is a perfect transition point for You Know What You Are. The overlay vocals at the end are a solid example of Trent's ability as a singer. Showing the styles and Strengths available at his discretion.
