(I keep wanting to say "The Pit and the Pendulum"-of Poe's fame!).... The first 8 minutes are incredible! then the next voice (probably Tuomas' throws me off (which it is probably intending to do) and it shakes me up... then it rights itself again, and I'm back with the song for the next six minutes... It's an incredible song, fit for Anette's voice, and I think it should get all the recognition it deserves. Pop? I don't THINK so! Definitely NOT! *shakes head* These songs rock out... from Amaranth to Bye Bye Beautiful, to The Poet and The Pendulum, in MY opinion, they're amazing, and they DESERVE to be noticed. NOT | Reviewer: Patrick | 10/25/07 I simply think that Anette is better for the Dark Passion Play, as it would be a bit lame for Tarja to sing about herself leaving the band (Bye Bye Beautiful) or her husband taking part in it (Master Passion Greed). Aside from that, such songs as Amaranth and Eva sounds much better (I think) with another voice not so much "opera-ish". I think that a classicaly trained voice would give much more justice to this song. Now I'm not talking Tarja vs. Anette, but what this song really would need!
