Greatest Song I've ever heard | Reviewer: Anonymous | 3/6/07

This song is by far my favorite song not only by this band, but by any I have ever heard. I'm a new fan to Nightwish, but am already addicted. They are truly amazing.

THIS IS THE BEST | Reviewer: Anonymous | 3/3/07

Im telling you...Tuomas Holopainen has proved to be a pure genious a long time ago, but this AMAZING masterpiece Ghost Love Score (and Once overall) proves that there isn't, never was or never will be greater songwriter and composer than he is. This song is just perfect!

This song is absolutely their finest work, no doubt! It's beautiful and I agree that 10 minutes is not enough. I've heard the song over and over and over and I can never get enough of it. It's my favourite of all Nightwish songs, and it is on my top three best songs ever made.
A masterpiece.

This is the true Nightwish Masterpiece | Reviewer: Trini | 9/27/06

Title says it all. For the year and a half I've been listening to Nightwish, this is by far the best song ever. It's so long, so you have twice as much Nightwish in just one song =P Plus, the whole orchestra is just...breathtaking. And Tarja's voice is...uh I don't have words for this so let's leave it at Tarja's voice, shall we? This song inspires me. So much. I could write a song off each verse of the lyrics (not going all arrogant, mind =P). Tuomas is a freaking genius. Even Jukka admits this is his favorite song...and honestly, how could someone that likes Nightwish not like this??
Ok pointless ranting over...
let me finish up.
This. Is. The. Nightwish. Masterpiece.
Period.

Ghost Love Score-a review | Reviewer: Anonymous | 7/4/06

I will admit I am anew fan of Nightwish. I just bought the CD and heard this song. It was amazing! I find that the combination of a full orchestra and a heavy metal band absolutely beautiful. The music reminded me of a dark Disney (R) score. I cannot get enough of this song-I listen to it all the time. Right now in fact.

Where was this song came from? I bet from Heaven itself! | Reviewer: Playbahnosh | 4/8/06

I'm a fan of Nightwish for some time now. When I first heard Over The Hills And Far Away, I asked my friend what band is that, and he just said "oh that's just Nightwish, the best band on planet earth" I admit I was sceptic. I bought the album (Over The Hills...) and gave it a good listen, and I was even amazed of myself how I like it, I just couldn't get enough of the music. So I went back to the store and bought the albums one after another. I became a huge Nightwish fan. At first, I skipped the longer tracks like this one, and only listened to the others. But after some time I gave in and put them on too. My first real favorite became The Beauty Of The Beast(Christabel) with it's staggering 10 minutes. I just listened to it over and over again. About a two days ago I decided to listen to Ghost Love Score. I was numb with amazement. I couldn't move, I just listened to it over and over again, I just couldn't get enough. I closed my eyes and the music brought me to distant landscapes I've never seen before. I felt feelings never before. I listened to almost all of the Nightwish songs before and this was the peek, just when you climb a mountain and reach the top. A colossal masterpiece. If there is sonic orgasm, this is it. I give from 10 points I give 100. There is no music that can beat this composition. The power, lightness, the serenity... beautiful. The orchestra, Tarja's amazing voice, the composition.... I never thought possible electric guitars could ever sound good with orchestra and opera voice but Nightwish, as many times, proved me wrong. And hell am I happy they did! I dare every composer on Earth to try and outcompose this masterpiece!

Beautiful song, beautiful meaning | Reviewer: KS Black | 6/14/05

Like a few other people here, I'm a recent addition to the Nightwish Fandom, but I can honestly say that this song is one of the best out there, and one of the best tracks on Once.

I love the way the song breaks itself into visual pieces-listening to it, I can see so many images-from the fantastical to the futuristic.

Nightwisg, Ghost Love Score | Reviewer: Paul | 5/11/05

I'm a fan of Nightwish for a few years now. And when I got the new album (once) I listened to it. And I figured out that the whole album was awsome. But then I heard Ghost Love Score I just thought: this is the most beautifull song I've ever heard. The Symphonical sound on this track is so great. A whole orchestra! There is no better song like this. You have to put your amplifier on 10 and .... lean back. And let it blow your ears. Dont forget to set the player on repeat one. Because hear it once is not enough. Like he said: its a song that you dont want to stop. The whole song is build of different "sounds". I give it a 10 on the scale of 10. I dont know what could make it even better. Nightwish thanks for the beautifull music you make!! Greetings Paul

Nightwish - ghost love score | Reviewer: Leonard E. Mercer | 11/12/04

I am 58 years young and never imagined that I would become a fan of a Metal Group like Nightwish. I discovered them only by chance about 3 weeks ago and they are simply a great group who play great Music. To me the instrumental version of Ghost love Score is ll mins. of total bliss. I never heard such beautiful music throughout the whole 10 or 11 mins. I could hear it over and over again. The sung version is just as good. Who ever composed this piece of music is a genius of our time. I hope to hear more music like this from Nightwish.

Leonard.

Excellent Song, Excellent band. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/10/04

I'm a fairly recent fan of Nightwish, and they rapidly have become my favorite band of all time. The power of the music, the lyrics, the power of Tarja's voice... it all comes togeather into the perfect combination. Ghost Love Score is probably my favorite song next to Dead Boy's Poem. A lot of people see it's 10 minutes long and freak out... when if anything, 10 mintues just isn't enough. It's one of those songs you wish could just keep going, a masterpiece. It goes through the highs, the lows, fast, slow... a thunderstorm mixed in with a gentle rain. Give it a raide, I'd give it a 9.99/10 (because no matter how near, nothing can ever achieve true spherical perfection).
