Can one of you "Tarja lovers" out there who make Tarja MUCH more than she was (she was just a singer to a great band) why "My Winter Storm" hit rock-bottom while "Dark Passin Play" is stil on top of the charts??? I will always love the older and melodic voice of Tarja, but I guess I'm a die hard NIGHTWISH fan. i want my tarja back | Reviewer: devils vixen | 2/27/08 there is alot i could say about this new album but right now it would break me. simply put, the new singer is to immature in the vocals to grasp the sound. she needs more training. and i can say that because i have been an opera and scream singer for over 10 years of my life. and i think deep down tarja is missed by the band. i have seen nightwish live with tarja and there really did seem to be much play and love on stage when i saw them (few years ago). and yeah tarja was alittle self centered as she should be. lets be honest, the old music of the group was great but it was tarjas unique voice that made them stand out from the dark. put a males vocals in place and they would have been just a good melodic metal band. she is the one to help break the ground for female singers. i don't think the new girl is terrible. she just has alot of training to do. and its funny because i think the band hates her (they make her sing about herself being a whore in one of the songs dont they ? lol) but whatever. tarja chose the long road, but nightwish will still be waiting Bye bye, beautiful...
