She had ideas of going solo and without warning, dumped the band. Apparently, in a letter to the band, she was quite nasty to them - hence the bitterness felt by them and some hardcore fans. "It’s not the tree that forsakes the flower But the flower that forsakes the tree" Other fans have decided to take it out on Annette, by booing and shouting Tarja's name at concerts. Nearly all bands change over time, both in style and members. They lose old fans and gain new ones. Any of you with parents 40+, ask them about the like of Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, Black Sabbath and here them drone on about the band when to sh!t when so-and-so left/joined...
