Do you do that with other things? "Oh, I don't know if I like symphonic metal more than rap because they're *so* different!" "Do I like azure or chartreuse more? I can't tell because they're just such different experiences!" "I can't choose which acquaintance I like more because they act differently, and I therefore cannot compare them!" Well, maybe *you* can't compare them for whatever reason, but *others* can tell which things they like more than other things. *facepalms* Difference is the reason comparison exists in the first place. As for this particular song, I don't like it. As is the case with all groups I listen to, I like *some* songs but not every single last one. Sure, the content has *something* to do with it (if that open letter is anything to go by, it's dishonest and jerkish in that Tarja's firing was a "you won't quit *later* because you're fired *now*," but this song is a "grr why u quit? bye, but well b waitin"), but my main problem with it is that it just doesn't generally match what my mind classifies as beauty. The part Anette sings has nice progressions, but I thought the chorus was kind of nasty-sounding. hi. | Reviewer: Starbreeze | 3/24/09 In my opinion Tarja sings just better, Anette doesn't have good enough voice to sing in this band. He's saying in every interview that the whole Tarja story should be forgotten and the new album reeks of all kinds of allusions! Sure he's a songwriter and has to express himself through these lyrics but gosh let it go. This song and Master Passion Greed are mean and selfish. HE fired Tarja, humiliated her through the letter, threw the whole blame of the band not getting along on her and her husband, all the fans are saying she's a bitch and pity pooor Tuomas, not to mention he's still got a BAND. Tarja's down and he's just hurting her more... I totally agree !!. I was going to buy Nightwish’s album with new singer cuz I still think the music is still good and brilliant. but after I knew about the letter, I soon realized the band still stabbed Tarja’s back with the lyrics of the new album. Tarja might do something very bad but what the band did to her looks to me that they also could be a pain in the a**. The first songs i heard were with Tarja and i really like them, then i start to download many songs of them and i find out Tarja wasnt in nightwish anymore, but c'on, while Toumas still writing so good songs and Marco sings as good as he does, and the rest of the band still as good as they were with Tarja, it is Nightwish. Nightwish dumped Traja because her attitude toward their career was focused more on the money and less on the music, so in a public letter they ended up dumping her. History repeats itself! | Reviewer: Muttley | 12/1/08 It is quite obvious that Nightwish fans are arguing who is better than who. To tell you the truth I am a new fan of Nightwish. I've been listening to them for the last 6 months. Tarja is magnificent. I've heard quite a few albums these 6 months and I got to like them very much. I've heard 2 tracks from their last album with the new vocalist, Anette. I heard bye bye beautiful and I admit that I liked it very much. Guys, this situation happened, happens and will continue to happen. Band members change all the time. That's part of the show. Just mentioning 2 great groups, Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden. You just have to accept the change or go for some other band. All I can say about the new Nightwish is that Anette's voice is compatible with the style of music. I admit that I prefer Tarja but that doesn't mean that i'm going to stop listening to Nightwish because of this change. If you are loyal to someone, you are loyal forever, no matter what happens! Anette has a very difficult job to do. She has to work hard with the other members as a team to win back the fans that maybe deserted them and attract new fans also.
