Hey Nicole,
Your song Black, White, Tan means so much to me i just had a mixed baby four months ago her name is Nevaeh and i play your song every day and sing it to her so that when she gets older she will know that she should be proud that she is mixed and not to let no one tell her diff. god bless you you are a amazing singer!!

You are my inspiration | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/21/08
Nicole--
I love your music. I just heard you last night and today at the Women of Faith conference in E. Rutherford, NJ. It was my first time hearing you live. My most favorite song is Black, White and Tan. It was amazing to see your daughter Jasmine singing that song with you. The reason why I love that song is because it's a consistant reminder that God wants us to love each other for who we are on the inside and that it's not about who we are on the outside. I belive that is why me (a dutch and italian white girl--has been able to love and date a Jamaican man for so long--i saw him from the inside)...I also find you inspiring for your work with the teenagers and pray that your ministry will continue.
Mainly White... | Reviewer: Audrey Mosley | 11/25/07
I was amazed at how you performed in front of a mainly white audience at the Glendale arena in Arizona and after your first couple of songs you had the crowd. I was very impressed with your talents. I have been led by Christ to be different and not conform to stero types laid out for Black Americans(being a mother of seven children, homeschooling them all from birth, and also having myositis which brought me down to a wheelchair and by the grace of God my muscles re functioning again), so I was deeply moved by how Christ joined all races through your music, it really gave me a great big taste of what Heaven will be like. Your music gives me courage and strength to face my illness,Thank you Nicole. Thank you als for bringing the house to their feet on December 2007 Women of Faith Conference.

AWESOME Performer | Reviewer: Lori from Iowa | 4/21/07
I just saw Nicole C. Mullen at the Women of Faith conference in Des Moines. She is such a powerful performer. Her voice is amazing and she completely rocked the house with her dancing and worshiping to the Lord. I am serious! The whole arena was up on their feet, clapping and cheering as she sang and danced, and even had two of her four children sing with her. An amazing talent and a great person, too! Ya gotta see her in person, but it is so awesome to hear her on the stereo, too.
modern psalms? | Reviewer: Old Glen B Smith | 6/22/06
King David wrote many psalms about his Lord. Each came from his zeal and love for his Lord. The best known is when he uses the metaphor of the Lord is my shepherd. Nicole C. Mullen writes of her relationship to Jesus using the metaphors of music, “Music of My Heart.” Both her anthems, “Redeemer” & “Call on Jesus,” to me, are the best contemporary Christian music since Andre Crouch 40 years ago. There is this same kind of zeal for the Lord in her music that King David had; it is not just the music but the words she seems to want us to hear. “Come Unto Me,” “I Am,” ”Black, White, & Tan,” “On My Knees,” “Without You,” or “Message for Ya,” it really doesn’t matter – her music touches me because she has been touched. The Lord has trusted her with a gift and she is honoring Him and blessing us with her music. I hear her music from within during my daily goings, and it brings forth a smile of joy and love of God.
