it keeps me going | Reviewer: olufemi kukoyi | 11/14/09
Yes, the very first day I listen to this song in a DVD player, the awesomeness of God gripped me. I said to myself 'black and white tan?'. Am of the opinion that God loves us human beings regardless of our colour. Greatly though, I had to teach all my pupils of about 5,000 in number. They sing this song every where they go .Yes! the really makes a whole lots of sense.'mama looks like coffee Daddy looks like cream......'

My girls love this song and sing it at church. We are not biracial but this song teaches my kids such an important lesson. It puts it into words better than I could. I want my kids to understand that God loves us all. I heard Nicole sing this live at the Women of Faith conference with her daughter and there was not a dry eye in the room. Love it!

being me | Reviewer: Rochelle | 10/15/07
I love this song. It's always been hard to be me, I'm the tan one. I grew up in a 99% white area and people always asked me what nationality I was. I think people are coming around all the time to all the ethnic differences in our country. This is great and I hope it just keeps on. Thank you Nicole for making me feel good everytime I hear this song.
