Song= 9/10
The Melody Is Great.
Lyrics Are Realistic, a little explicit for some people listening to the tune.
Good Song | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/25/07
I like this song except for the line: "We'll all stay skinny cause we just won't eat". You're a rock star not a supermodel - plus "cheap" doesn't rhyme with "eat". A better line might have been: "We'll stay up all night and we'll never sleep". Notice how cheap rhymes with sleep. :)
REALISTIC @ TRUE | Reviewer: Norman | 6/18/07
A perfect ballad of what we all wish for @ sometime in our life.The lifestyle is both exciting @ can be tragic if not careful. BEEN THERE< DONE THAT> Wonderful music!

High schoolers,
This song isn't deep or sad. Fun, maybe, but deep? Give me a break. Quit trying to be intellectual with a Nickelback song- you haven't uncovered a hidden meaning or brilliant interpretation. Take it at face value and find deep hidden meanings in other things.
Are you guys for real? | Reviewer: Dr. Shawnie Fever | 6/11/07
I have never heard such one-dimensional and trite rubbish since...well, the last Nickelback song I heard. Most bands evolve and improve over time but Chad and co. keep writing the same tired old lyrics and boring cheese-rock. To all that believe this is a good song, I assume is it because you have not been exposed to innovative artists like The Dandy Warhols and Bloc Party . I am ashamed that Nickelback is from my hometown.
I think it's fantastic... | Reviewer: Music City | 6/7/07
I think it's a wonderful attack on the quintessential rock star mentality and lifestyle. I don't think Chad's defending it as much as he's condemning it. It's a plastic existence that it appears he has contempt for, and I think it deserves praise. He’s taking shots at those he works close with, so it’s a bold statement to make.

i love this song this is the best song i ever herd. i listen to it alot so far this is probably the best song i know (besides three days grace). it tells you the story of a guy that talks about a real life of a rock star, and what they do
just amazing song | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/5/07

hmmmmmm... | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/4/07
Well, I used to not like this song at all because I either misunderstood the lyrics or it's the unrated lyrics or something. I'm still not crazy about it. However, it almost reminds me of "I Want My MTV"... So, anyone who enjoys this sort of song, I seriously recommend you listening to Dire Straits' song "I Want My MTV". It has a very similar theme. An ordinary guy (in this case someone who works in a place like Sears) who wishes he could hit it big and have what seems like a carefree-perfect life. VERY cute.
