from the guy who has given you anonymous negative emails on the nb i wanna say that i was very wrong to dismiss nickelback. they have a very good lead guitarist not chad the other one and while they have gone softer its for the better cuz the latest heavy song of theirs animals sucks ass. some other negatives i need to point out while chad has the potential to be an amazing singer he needs to discontinue the half growling half singing vocal overdubs the same ones that ruined the santana song he sang on and dan still needs to get better as a drummer though he fits the bands style very well. alot of the proffessional music critics have dismissed nickelback and while they are the best voice to listen to on music critics historically have a tendency to be wrong critics hated black sabbath and queen and journey back in the day but now they revere those same groups. i think nickelbacks next album is going to be great even though most critics are gonna hate it. my advice only listen to critics when they tell you something is good when they say something is bad you should decide for yourself.

dude your probably not lookin at this page anymore but i just gotta say that if you wanna be like nickelback that makes you a wannabe band and nickelback is crappy so you are a crappy wannabe band. my advice to you is not to model yourselves after them go with whatever idea comes to you if you end up sounding like nickelback at least it wasnt because that was your goal. i mean cmon there are so many bands that are better than nickelback even the ones that nb fans like fall out boy mcr earlier staind daughtry even hinder. and one more thing so long as you dont get too in touch with your spiritual beliefs you will avoid being our lady peace.

i saw on a webpage somewhere that nickelback is emo. yea right whoever wrote that is an idiot. whatever the hell emo is nickelback isnt emo. theyre touchy feely and overly sentimental but theyre not emo- heroin chic wuss rock yes but not emo. thats something haters and fans can agree on nickelback is not emo you want emo listen to taking back sunday.

I am 52 & have been listening to R&R for years. Not until I heard Nickelback I wasn't excited about current music. They gave me a "new lease on life" w/their music & lyrics. Rock doesn't have to be loud to be good. One of their best is "If Everyone Cared". They write lyrics that give you mental images & music that you keep humming. I wanna be a Rock Star! Keep up the Great work...Im buying ALL your albums!

Thank you so much for you feelings, although you could have put them a little more maturely but that's ok. I agree with you completely. Nickelback is by far one of the worst bands out there, plz people do yourself a favor and get some culture, look for music that is indie because these guys deserve a break, they are talented in almost all aspects of the business yet bands like Nickelback are getting all the glory.

i remember when nickelback was heavy and when they were a good band. there was no sappy sentiment they werent a happy band they a band that was angry and hungry. silver side up is the soundtrack of my rotten life. they did a complete 180 in a course of what four years. all the right reasons is completely different. the lyrics are too happy and the music is mindnumbingly soft very often and it always sounds too polished. you probably couldve called nickelback a metal band 5 years ago but now you cant even call them hard rock. thanks for sellin out guys.
